What indication has Meyer given that he’s changed his mind and doesn’t want to coach the Jaguars any longer? Let me answer, nothing. All that speculation was based completely, entirely, on internet memes created by people who don’t like him. The one time I hope Lombardi is right (Dilla confirms):

The dude is stressed about losing and was blowing off some steam. A hot chick was grinding on him. So what? That’s what happens to rockstars and super successful men. Sure, he should have had better situational awareness. But he was probably hammered. You know how many scenarios exactly like this happened before everybody had a camera in their pocket? You guys are weirdos , especially the dudes on here criticizing him for it. You know damn well his wife is not going to leave him over this. On to the Tacks. The explanation: "Hey, Chris Schottenstein is having his birthday party at the chop house. His family is a big reason why we had that mansion while we were in C-bus. I'm gonna stick around after the game and celebrate with him. Their tab alone will probably pay for our next vacation." now after video surfaces? uh, "love you honey, here's a ginormous diamond worth more than the Kismet!" He apologized, and now it's on the team to win. Coaches can only do so much. This is a rebuild and it's only 4 games in. Be realistic. I'm a pretty firm believer that leopards don't change their spots. There is little, if any, evidence that Urban was not a willing participant in his evening's events. That's not to say if he is intentional about avoiding putting himself in these situations in the future, he won't bring these headlines on himself again. But, he has to want to not be there. I've brought it up in the past, and I think Cullen's past is relevant - he made a TERRIBLE choice, likely under duress of the pressures of big game coaching, but has since not had (publicly) any issues related to his lapse. If news broke that he was stumbling drunk at a local watering hole, I'd be just as concerned about distraction to our team as I am with respect to Urbz' videos. You are right. At this point, handwringing achieves no purpose. The fallout depends on both his wife's response to the information and his ability to move on from this event and remain focused on his responsibilities as coach. If he took this job seeking a challenge, he's certainly making sure there are challenges in his path. (10-05-2021, 09:19 AM)StroudCrowd1 Wrote: This is self sabotage so he can take the USC job. "I am going to destroy my image publicly and professionally so that this employer will hire me." bold stragety.

When you say "remain focused on his responsibilities as coach" kind of goes against this whole thread. It seems he's only partially focused on being an NFL head coach and partly focused on being a part of the Playa's Association. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

It does look a little staged Meyer never slipped up and got caught on camera like this in any of his other jobs. Plus, what was caught on camera was just borderline. The girl was grinding on him, but it wasn't like he was making any aggressive moves or making out with her. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Most NFL contracts are guaranteed for coaches and FO types, I bet this gets Khan off the hook for the future years. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

Whatever they do I hope they decide and do it quick. I'm getting sick of this story.
