If you're going to pull someone up for a typo, at least check that you know how to write "you're" and "at least" properly first, or you might make a fool of yourself.

Regardless of the reasons, if he truly doesn't have the locker room, and the team continues to lose badly, then it's probably only a matter of weeks. The captain's supporting him is probably more for the benefit of team morale and saying the 'right thing' than any genuine feeling towards Meyer. If we are winless at the bye and our 'progress' declines, then the chances go way up. If we break the record with 0-27, then I think it's a done deal the Monday after that game. Of course, there is a massive contract to negotiate (get out of) as well. Amazing to me that owners don't tie coaching salary to wins, tho maybe there are incentives over and above base. Sports should be more incentive based like golf and tennis. Guaranteed money only makes a person less motivated.

I am curious how many people would openly talk [BLEEP] about their boss on camera.  I am not saying that Trevor and Jihad aren't being honest, but it seems unlikely they would give any other answer openly.

Only the ones who don't know when to shut up.  Dissention tears a team apart and real professionals are smart enough to understand this keep their opinions private.

Meyer hasn’t lost the team (such a stupid assertion)
Isn’t resigning
Won’t be fired
Will win games this season
Will be coaching the Jags next season

Deal with it.

Glad you're cool with a piece of human garbage as head coach. Glad you're okay that we will be garbage as a team and franchise moving forward.

Urban can't even manage himself let alone a professional NFL team.

It's time to let go of mediocrity that we have been assigned as Jags fans and demand MORE.

And it's not just this latest thing. It's his whole body of professional work. It's crap. If he were a 15 year veteran - maybe I can excuse it - he still doesn't know what he's doing. He's arrogant. He's just terrible in every facet. Every decision he's made as a Head Coach has been wrong. Every. Single. One.

You guys are wayyy to invested in your hate for Meyer. I’m ambivalent about the guy so I’m able to make a reasonable assessment of the situation. Your desperate desire to want him gone does not equate to reality.

Homebiscuit, JIB, and WingerDinger all get points for consistency at least.
Trivialpursuit and FSG are a bit jumbled up.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

They consistently back the head coach - just as they have from JDR, Mularkey, Bradley and Bologna... and yet this guy is worse than all of them.

He hasn't made one good decision his entire tenure here.

All his cuts? They are better than the players we have. All his hires? Suck. Or controversial. Everything he does is tainted with unprofessionalism and a general lack of understanding what it takes to succeed at the NFL level.

I think you're supportive rather than ambivalent because he's the Jaguars coach and you want the team to succeed. I want him gone because he's damaging the chances of them succeeding. We really want the same thing, we just disagree on Meyer's ultimate impact on that outcome. If you were truly ambivalent I think you would be more objective about that list of franchise damaging things he's done the last 8 months and come to a different conclusion.

I back who we have. I'm not going to sit here and wring my hands and act like my world is coming to an end because of a football player, head coach or anyone else in that matter. It's not that important in my life.. You wanna sit there with the rest and act like you're holding a razor to your wrist because of this debacle, you go right ahead. I'll support who we have as long as they're here because I have no say in the matter.

I don’t deny for a second that mistakes have been made. He and Baalke have committed quite a few, but they haven’t been fatal mistakes. Despite getting rid of some valuable players, this team is undoubtedly improving. I’m also willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because of his utter rookie status.

We can sit here all day and tic off the character issues and roster management flaws, but one thing is undeniable: everywhere he’s ever coached has realized complete success. He may not be an Xs and Os guy, as some of you claim, but he’s a superb manager who gets the most out of an organization. If he can bring a Lombardi trophy to Jacksonville before he lapses into an Excedrin moment, I’ll gladly hold the door for him on his way out.
