He's a horrible coach by every metric the NFL uses.

Really?

Horrible human does not equal horrible coach.

I think it's a bit early to say he's a horrible coach. His style maybe won't translate to the NFL level but we can see the team is getting better each week. I don't expect them to go 0-17 and if they do I expect a new HC next year.

However, a 5-12 or 6-11 team with most wins during the second half of the season is realistically the best we could have hoped for with any HC. In that case I don't see a problem with Meyer leading the team next season.

Not really. We can see the offense getting better, but the defense still sucks as bad as it did week 1. Nobody can get to the passer and no one can cover receivers. All we can do is pray the offense keeps improving to the point where we win some shootouts in the future.

Did I say anything about Meyer in this post? I simply pointed out that the offense has gotten better. Not the defense. Lighten up, dude. Geez!

Lol, he was a terrible human being long before this latest incident.

With all respect to Jihad, he is referring to an incident from last weekend involving his head coach on a Thursday rather than talking about the upcoming matchup against the Titans. That is the very definition of a distraction, lol.

No, they simply ask him a question and he answered it.  Lol.  Should he of dodged the question?  I don't see what happened to have any barring on the outcome of the game.  It's only a distraction to the media because it what the like to do.

And if a media hungry for clicks wasn’t asking him about it, he wouldn’t give it a second thought. He’s not distracted, the team is not distracted, the media is distracted.

I was at Publix today and I’m 91% sure Urban was behind me in line and it was his hand that felt up my [BLEEP] crack.

The entire point is that he's being asked about it period. The media shouldn't need to ask him about it, because it should of never happened in the first place. Yet Urbs wanted to go out and be a dumb [BLEEP], instead of acting like a professional NFL Head Coach. They should be asking him about the Titans, not this stupid [BLEEP], yet the HC is the cause of all of this. That's the point and that's the problem.

Don't blame the media for doing their job, blame Urb's dumb [BLEEP] for giving them the fuel to start the fire.

This is a good response. At the end of the day, it’s up to the team to win games. They can’t control the tabloids.

The point being it is not a distraction to the team. When they are practicing, I can guarantee that the players don’t pull up short and say, “I just can’t do this. All I can think about is coach’s predicament. Man, I sure hope I don’t stay awake all night thinking about it again.”

I understand, your disdain for Urban Meyer is a distraction to you, but not to the men on the field.

Urban could. All he had to do was not get caught in the first place.

They're breaking huddle on the word "grind." Of course they aren't distracted, because publicly making fun of the coach shows a great sign of respect.  Wink
