*** Official Game Thread - Week 5 - tacks @ Jags***

A case of the stats will look worse than they were. TLaw played a good game, had a TD stolen from him, and clearly is getting better every week.

Well, the refs sucked but that's not the only reason they lost, no doubt.

No, we have our hope in Trevor Lawrence. It's the coaching that has to be better.

My hope lies in James Robinson turning into Derrick Henry v2 carrying our team. T Law looks far from ready to be a competitive QB. Still needs time likely but not looking ideal.

We are the sole owners of the second longest losing streak in NFL history.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

He's a rookie playing his 5th game for a [BLEEP] hole franchise with a terrible play caller. It took them 3 weeks into the season to figure out that Robinson should be running the ball and we needed TWO new Tight Ends. TLaw is so far behind the 8 ball it looks like Earth from Pluto.

This guy needs to go root for the jets. Watch Wilson. Then come back and watch Trevor. The difference is night and day

It's like he's in a personal competition to make every post dumber than the last one.

Well we had a situation where we were a QB away from being competitive to having a franchise guy with no talent around him. We use to have the place kicking down to this mess.

I see improvement and the players are playing hard. Unfortunately they just aren't good enough. I don't trust the owner, front office or coaching. Sadly we will be in year 3 if this rebuild when the owner figures out Baalke can't draft players and Urban can't coach in the NFL.

In the adventures in futility, we are looking like we are capable of breaking the losing streak. Also seens like we have a strong chance to draft 1st overall 2 years in a row. Rarefied air there.

Just saw the highlights on CBS. They had Carlos Hyde as the rushing stat at 5 for 13 yards.

NO MENTION OF JAMES "I outplayed Derrick Henry" ROBINSON AT ALL!!!!!!

These networks suck but we are worse so they don't have to bother trying with our games.

I seen that as well and had to do a double take to make sure I was seeing it right.

The kicker is that Robinson stats, 18 carries 149 yards 1 TD were scrolling across the bottom of the screen at that same time lol. Network is a joke.

Dude averaged 8.3 ypc and they put Hyde in the game at 1st and goal. 4 Straight plays with him being in there. You have 4 plays, need 5 yards and have a RB averaging over 8 yards per carry. What do we do? Try and throw it 3 times then run Hyde on 4th down. I still think Lawrence scored, but I'm handing Robinson the ball all 4 times if need be.

The NFL wants the Jaguars to break the record for consecutive losses ... they want to make that a topic of discussion for the media, talking heads etc.
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

I thought JRob had a great game. Why Meyer pulled him out I will never know.

But Henry is a beast. I thought he was rather pedestrian and I looked at his stats and I was shocked.

Dude makes it look easy.

He reminds me of OJ and Jim Brown. He is that good. Their OL sucks. Their D is nothing.

He is their entire team.
