WOW

Reporter: "How many barrels of oil does the U.S. consume per day?"

How about we fix all the other problems created by liberals so a parent can actually stay home and raise the kids. Then you don't have to pay for daycare and the kids will be better off, neighborhoods and communities will be better, etc. That's probably racists though because the liberals destroyed the family structure of poor people.

Surely you would want people who care for your kids to be on a living wage?

Kids that attend pre schooling far outperform those that don't, it's a big part of the world leading model of education in places like Finland.

I care about gas prices. The higher the prices go up the more $$ I make on my XLE energy stock. Here's hoping oil hits $130/barrel (sarcastically stated)

You don't need to worry because Biden tapped our wartime reserves that Trump topped off, to give us at least a 3 day supply of cheaper gas.

Finland doesn't have energy price issues, they are powered by offshore oil from the North Sea. Same with Norway and Sweden. It's annoying for people to constantly refer to these societies as the model everyone else should follow. They are low population, high-income countries made so through exports of mostly oil, and of course they're going to have higher standards of living simply because there are fewer people to share all that import income. Try again, and please use a country with a population of over 10 million.

Oil reserves released by Biden expected to primarily go to China, India

U.S. taps 50 million barrels of oil from reserves in an attempt to tamper spiking costs at the gas pump

President Biden’s move to tap the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve is expected to supply Chinese and Indian oil needs as gas demands have led to global shortages, reports said Tuesday.

The White House said the Department of Energy will release 50 million barrels of oil held in U.S. reserves — 18 million of which have already been congressionally approved for sale.

Not totally sure what you are arguing. All I said was that Finalnd are world leaders in education.

Also their price of gas is far higher after a Google? So even more confused what you are arguing.

Finland does not have much fossil fuel.  He's confused them with Norway.  Norway has a lot of the stuff.
He's right that Finland benefits from a small, homogenous population.  He's right that we shouldn't compare ourselves to Finland too much. Finnish people trust each other more.  They don't abuse government benefits, and believe that their neighbors also aren't abusing government benefits. Finnish people work hard, less of them abuse their version of disability benefits, for instance.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
