She makes a good final point in that we need to move on and build another identity as quickly as possible. Urban Meyer's name is on everyone's mind right now, but the sooner he's forgotten the better. Let's hope Khan gets it right this time. Finding an imminently qualified GM is the first piece that will make all the others fall into place.

Those quotes from the players are absolute BS. Do you ever see video clips of these guys rolling up to the stadium, or coming out of the jet like they’re Bruce Wayne or Tony Stark, only to then get blown out in the actual game right in front of our eyes?

that's exactly what this means. @If only we fired him after Columbus, we'd be fighting for home field advantage in the playoffs and breaking every NFL record in the books.@

This actually surprised me. As obsessive as Meyer was, I figured he would be the one staying late with everyone else. He really did phone it in for this job, didn't he?

I don't know if that's the reason but Trevor definitely met with Shad Tuesday night on his yacht and now Gene is saying the decision to fire Urban was before the Lambo news dropped.

Not sure if you know this.. College coaching is much closer to a 40 hour work week than you'd think. NFL coaching? 75-80. Easily.

I get that Urban is her father, but c'mon how can she not see that the things he does makes him who he is? Is she proud of him knowingly protecting a domestic abuser at Ohio State? Of him ignoring 31 felony arrests at Florida as well as the events that didn't lead to an arrest (Percy Harvin punching and choking a coach)? Of his behavior at the bar after the Cincinnati game? As Dan Orlovsky said about Urban - "he's just a bad dude....a bad human".

Not real sure why you stuck your response onto my post; I wasn't attempting to defend anyone here. Let me be more clear:
A. I agree that she's a daughter defending her dad, and thus can never be objective about any of what has happened
B. She's as much of a narcisstic nut job as her dad
C. She's worried that this will cut into her personal fitness training empire, or whatever it is that she is

I'm going with A & C, for the moment. If she reveals too much crazy during that 'kracken' release, then I'll have to say all of the above.

She also needs to stop with the psudeo-spiritual warfare talk. It's demeaning to those who earnestly live that life without trying to intentionally hide bad behaviour behind it.

This was my point about Khan not being so patient this time with Meyer. He knows what he has in Lawrence and isnt going to risk that. Think back to when Lawrence came to Jacksonville after the draft, Khan sent his private plane and met him on the runway. Owners dont do that for everyone.
