I honestly don't believe there is a leak in my opinion.. Journalists and hack bloggers make stuff up all the time just to see if it sticks..

I'm with you, they're all just trying to read tea leaves. We're way too far out for any of this "this guy is #X on our board" stuff anyway.

I'm a Manziel fan.. But I'm a Jags fan first. If he doesn't come here, he doesn't come here.. If the FO think's that Clowney or Mack is the better prospect with the 1st pick, then so be it. The truth of the matter is, none of our opinions or words carry any weight on who's getting drafted first.. Either you're on board with who's taken, or pack up your tent and follow Teddy the hell out of here if he isn't taken by the Jags..

great read for anyone that thinks Caldwell and the staff are leaking info and that it's going to be a disadvantage.

No doubt in my mind if Clowney is there when we pick he will be our guy no matter who goes 1 and 2..  Will he be on the board?  That is the question.

If Clowney had great flexibility in his hips and "bend" I would be inclined to believe.

The problem he is built to be a power rusher, doesn't help when you drop to 266 in order to be a speed rusher who needs "bend"

You can't be 266 and bull rush an NFL left tackle and seriously expect to be successful

He needs to be at 285-290

Clowney can beat you with speed, power, and a variety of moves.  He just knows how to get to the QB, exactly what Gus wants.

Against cement footed college tackles

NFL tackles are fleet of foot and powerful to boot. You are talking about 6'4+ 320+ lb atheltic human beings. If your are going to be a speed rusher, you have to be able to get low and bend around the edge.

Unless you are Lawrence Taylor and high of the white stuff, you aren't powering through NFL tackles at anything less than 280

About 270 is just right for Clowney.  You dont use power moves all the time.  Its like a chess match with the OT, and he will learn that as he develops as a player.  Im not worried about what kind of player Clowney will become as long as he can stay healthy

If he could bend around the corner and squeeze the pocket I would agree with you. He can't, at least not right now. He is more power than speed and he needs the size maintain the power

Didn't you know, the only correct answer to any draft related question is Bridgewater.

Just because he blind carbon copied you makes it true?

Clowney didn't bull rush every single tackle he went up against. You should be more worried about him abusing the inside swim to the point where it can be predictable.

But that can be fixed.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
