So I'm up to speed on this show and it's reaching that "superlative" mark in my book.

I'm enjoying the plot twists and the layers that each character has. Probably my favorite show on tv right now.

It's pretty awesome. Too bad only two episodes left. Sad

I hope future seasons are just as good and with the same top notch acting.

The writing may still be top notch but it will be difficult to find comparable acting talent.

It's going to be hard to replace Harrelson and McConaughey.

Especially McConaughey.

So any thoughts - no spoilers please - on who the Yellow King is, or if he is even a real character in the show?

The lingering shot on the busted taillight.  Interesting way to end the episode.

Didn't it get broken when they fought outside the state police station?

Why would you read a TV show? Man, I've been doing it wrong this whole time.

This weeks episode took a turn in terms of how the story is being told. There were no flashbacks and it seems as if the story was all in real time.

Things I think:

  • Marty is way too suspicious right now. Why don't we know anything about his Mother and Father? Where did he come from?
  • Has Rust gotten too close to all of this? Is he stable enough to immerse himself in that world and not let it affect his choices?
  • Why were there no bewbs in this past episode?!?!?!

And why the hell does he still drink Lone Star?

Quote:Show is rad.

Can't wait until tomorrow- kinda wish I had discovered this show six months from now so I could watch them all real quick instead of waiting every week.

It's funny you say that, because I just started watching Game of Thrones 3 weeks ago, and I'm almost caught up. It consumed a lot of my downtime recently

The finale crashed HBO's online streaming service, HBO Go.

I use a relative's HBO account to stream it and had to wait until yesterday to watch.

I might be a little late on this. But I have been watching this series and so far I have been very impressed with the concepts and the acting. I especially like Matthew McConaughey's performance so far as Rust. I know he's been mostly know for his romantic comedy and comedy roles just in general. But if you've ever seen him in Killer Joe as Joe, it's not a surprise to see him pull this character off in this series.

Does anybody like this series as well? (Don't bring up spoilers, I am only on Eps. 5), and are they planning on coming back for a 2nd season?
