i like him as our swing tackle.  now lets get some players to play interior line!

I like him as a backup. Quality depth.

If they have their eyes on him being a significant part of the OL "improvement" re: full time starting, then.....not good.

He's a good swing OT and depth, nothing wrong with this signing.

Agree.  Good draft to find a center in the second or third.  Center will be key, then find guards with the extra fifth rounders and/or free agency.  Shouldn't be difficult to overhaul given this draft.

Good signing especially as depth. He played pretty well at LT and he's young.

Actually this draft is weak when it comes to Centers.  There may be only 2-3 worth a 2nd or 3rd round grade to begin with, according to most reports.

This may mean that they get overdrafted.

Agreed completely, though I don't think they think what you speculate upon in the last line.

He's an ok backup, much better than he was when forced into a starting job at RT by Mularkey. I wonder if he could swing inside to guard. Don't know that his playing style lends itself to that, nor would I even want him starting, but it couldn't hurt to have a decent backup that can fill in at several positions.

Still, a quality C should be available in the second or third.  If not, so be it.

I was surprised Bradfield signed a two year deal, especially with the expected cap increase to kick in next season. Anyways, a good backup signing to solidify the swing tackle spot.

Why would you think anything else? It's obvious who his top tackles are and it isn't Bradfield. He's quality depth.

Any news on how much of the contracts of Cameron Bradfield and Sam Young are guaranteed?
