As long as he agrees to give Tebow a chance, then I'm down with it.

Really?  You don't think that might have something to do with crappy quarterbacks?

Are you kidding me.  Harlon Hill and Johnny Morris were 2 of the best WRs in the NFL back in the 1950s

ARob seemed to produce and Mooney has certainly got better each season.

Then there's Trubisky and Foles.....

Obviously the quarterbacking sucked, but I think Arob disappointed quite a bit and Anthony Miller was on everyone's breakout list every year and then went on to continue sucking. Mooney did fine but he was like 10th in targets and barely hit 1000 yards. Good for 76th in yards per target among qualified WRs (175th among all). I do not think there is evidence that it was a well coached unit.

Excited about a lot of these coaches. Especially for the TE position and the WR position.

So we're going to blame an 8-year veteran's performance on the ASSISTANT wide receiver coach.  Come on now, that's an enormous stretch.

And Mooney's yards are absolutely indicative of poor quarterback play.

If you want to 'blame' Miller's production on him, that's fine.  But there's also a possibility that he just isn't very good.

Not what I was doing. I just highlighted the portions that I saw relevant. Allen Robinson was a disappointment and Miller did suck. I'm not blaming anyone, but the players themselves. It's a big reason why I want no part of Robinson in free agency. I believe he is on the decline.

Wasn't necessarily directed at you.  My apologies.

Interesting staff. I like that a large percentage of them have played in the NFL...

Exactly.  The only reason Tom Brady turned out to be above average is because New England had a really great WRs Coach (the GOAT of WR coaches)

I didn't say whether it was a good or bad hire, no one here knows how good any assistant positional coach is. It just struck me as odd that out of all the teams you would expect us to get our WR coach from the Bears would have been one of the last places I'd have thought.

I don't buy that. A coach can be an influencing factor but not THE reason. I am assuming you are talking about Chad O'Shea ? He was only there from 2009 till 2017.
