Treadwell didn't look good last year either. He looked like the best part of a historically bad stretch of offense. If he is a contributor on our offense this year then it will be another sign of failure.

Treadwell's last 7 games averaged 60 ypg.  That's over 1000 yards a season.  Clueless as usual," if he a contributor than it's another sign of failure" Lmao, yeah man if a guy has struggled his while career and can come here and finally put it together and make an impact it's a failure?  Thats a win fornthe Jags and Trev.  He might make you look like a fool just like Baalke did lol

Naw, he was a 1st round pick for a reason.  He's always had talent and last year he was finally putting it together.  Doug will put the best players on the field and if Treadwell  makes plays he will get some playing time.  I hope shows out

Please stop. You're making yourself look foolish. Treadwell was just the best of an impossible situation, surrounded by subpar receivers. He should be a 4th receiver, at best.

He had 434 yards in 12 games. Projections from cherry picked stats are not the way to you want to die on a hill for for Laquon Treadwell.

Treadwell was merely a glimmer of mild consistency at the tail end of a season that had gone to hell in a hand basket for the Jags offense. No need to falsely paint him as a 1000 yard receiver. 

I think getting him in camp for a chance to prove that wasn't a fluke is a good move, but let's not get carried away here.

There's kind of a big difference between a WR who is putting up 60 yards a game on a historically bad offense with literally no other weapons and one who is doing it on a contender. If we ever hope to be a contender we need to stop trying to hype up terrible players like Treadwell who have bombed their way off of like 5 different teams.

He had over 400 in his last 7.  I hope we signed him to a 1 year prove it deal.  The talent has always been there he just wasn't able to put it together

With weapons around him will only help him.  Kinda like when Juju had Brown and ARob had Hurns.  When you have talented guys around you it opens things up and makes life easier

Treadwell is good depth who already has some experience playing with Lawrence. Relax. Who knows if he will make the team, but I could see him hanging on as a depth signing and then getting some playing time if injuries.

He is actually rated higher than the current GM in draft success. Taven was picked because of measurables, not because of success on the field. Coaches thought they would be the ones to make it click for him. Now he is off to another team for the same reason.

Everyone overlooked what was between his ears, or the lack of anything there. Not sure that he even really likes football other than it allowing him to not have to work.
