I wish we could've kept Chark instead of signing Zay Jones. AR 15 will probably produce a few TDs for the Rams, but Kupp will still be the guy. If OBJ returns, AR 15 will be the 3rd or 4th option in that offense.

OBJ + Kupp + AR-15 is an insane trio.

He played 56% of the Offensive snaps this year. He was again behind Waller, Renfrow and Ruggs. Zay then jumped into Ruggs' spot when he decided to make a stupid decision after week 7. Zay was only averaging about 20% of the Offensive snaps before Ruggs went out.

A big part of their Offense goes through Josh Jacobs at RB as well.

So, can Jones play X? Or is he more Z?

Kupp is definitely the #1 obviously. Ar-15 and OBJ are still #1's on plenty of teams tho.

There are a lot of nice compliments in that article.  If he possesses all of these great qualities, my question is why has his production been so low?  He has averaged less than 306 yards and 1 TD per season over the last three years.  He played in a minimum of 15 games each season, so it wasn't like he was injured.

There's no reason Marvin shouldn't be here this season imo. He's the Vet in the room and they'd have to eat $5.2m in dead cap space. He's set to make $8.7m in this final year of his contract. He provides far more value to Trevor and that WR room than $3.5m in saved cap space would bring.

Oh my. Totally forgot about him. Marvin gives them a valuable possession guy to go with Engram and Arnold. 

Kirk, Zay Jones, Agnew, and ETN are a viable crew of playmakers. None are elite, but together they can keep defenses honest.  

Therefore, I wouldn't trade into the first round to grab an X prospect. This team isn't a Davante Adams away from making noise so I'd hate to give up premium picks. They'd be wise to draft a prospect in rounds 2-5 if an obvious choice (Dotson, Drake, etc.) isn't there at the top of round 2. This draft is supposedly deep with receivers.

I don't see any way that there won't be at least 1 receiver available and worthy of the 33rd pick. There are 5 receivers I'd be very surprised to see available: Wilson, Williams, Olave, Burks and London. That leaves Dotson, Pickens and Watson as viable selections at this spot. One of these 3 may very well be taken in the first round, although there are legitimate concerns about each. Pickens had the ACL and was inconsistent and temperamental, Watson played against lower level competition and Dotson's slight stature could place him at greater risk for injuries. That being said, there is much more to like about these players and I'd expect at least two of them to be very productive at the NFL level. I'd be disappointed if one of these three players is not a Jaguar come April 29th, unless they get a reasonable deal to trade back up to get one of the top 5 towards the end of round 1.

Why did the tacks let him walk though? I see they declined the 5th year option. I know he missed some games last year. He looks good on paper. Just wondering why he didn't get picked back up.

Gaining him though seems ideal to pair up with Oluokun inside a 3 - 4. If they manage to sign him tonight. Again, Baalke just continues to enable himself to have more flexibility in next month's draft. Really surprised they didn't make a run at Bobby Wagner yet. Could probably get him on a 1 - 2 year deal on a more cap friendly deal.

Evans is younger, former 1st round pick. Seems like he's going to potentially cost you a little bit more.

I believe the fifth year option for a linebacker this year is over $11 million, so it's not particularly cheap.  Of course, they could have just signed him to an extension, but my understanding is that his play has been disappointing.

Edit:  The Titans also aren't in good salary cap shape.
