No one does the Pee Wee Herman "I know you are but what am I" retort better than you, that's for sure.

What can I say, your posts really aren't worth any more than that, but at least mine have style.

No, no style at all.  Not unless that's what you like to call your sad and ridiculous butthurt regarding Henne.

If Henne starts all year I wonder who we will pick with our top 3 pick in next year's draft...not a QB I am sure because just like this year and every year that did not have a Luck or RG III in it all of the "top" QBs will have red flags and many will say (just like this year) none are worthy of a top 3 selection.

if Caldwell passes on a QB early in this draft he better hope they don't turn out to be great ones...or his seat will get real hot real fast...no matter who we pick.

Not to get into the middle of your pissing match, but Oklahomie's post actually had a bit of humor to it. Yours seems more like your wife came home and banished you to the shed to take your bitterness out on the message board.

Either way it sure takes a lot of pointless exchanges like that to get a thread like this to 19 pages.

This news has took away some of the excitement I had for the upcoming season smh....

Quote:Good move.  Caldwell shows again he knows exactly what he's doing.  Henne should start the season although if he's still starting *next* season, I'll start to be concerned.

Dude, if Henne is still the starter after the bye week, that is a concern...  Our starter needs to be someone other than Henne well before 2015...

Seriously, I'm beginning to think we've all been fans of the Jaguars way too long.  We're already expecting the WORST CASE scenario.  We're all beginning to believe that Henne is going to be the starter for the entire 2014 season.  We're all beginning to believe that the FO isn't going to get a franchise QB.  I feel like I'm in the twilight zone, AGAIN.

No, keep your hopes up.  Free agency starts on Tuesday, I believe.  The draft is in May.  This was just a signing of a back up QB.  We're not staying with Henne, we're gonna try something new.  Henne is a place holder.  That's it.  He's about to be re-placed very very soon.

I wouldn't even bother anymore. You can throw the truth at em until you get carpal tunnel and the normal pitchfork carrying, talking heads won't listen.. Let them whine and carry on. Maybe they'll pass out after a while..

Please WingerDinger...tell me what "truth" have your thrown in this thread...all you have thrown is opinion...For a team who has had 17 drafts we have only drafted 5 QBs total...and only 2 in the first round...the other three came in the third and fourth...this is terrible drafting of the most important position in all of sports for a team that has never had a true elite/franchise QB...including Mark B.

You will also notice in the post of mine that was quoted...I said "IF" Henne is the starter all year we will be picking in the top 3 to 5 again...he is just a terribly average to below average QB.

Henne is just insurance for the chance that our rookie QB isn't ready. People saying he knows the system kind of got me laughing because he sucked in the system but with Blackmon playing IMO he can win some games. I don't think there was a better FA qb available. Vick is better but he would be hurt within a few games plus he throws a lot of ints too. I agree with the boards super villian that Conner Shaw should be brought in. In my perfect world we draft Mack at 3 and land shaw in a later round.

I agree, something bold is what is needed here. I am interested to see what moves we make today, BG should be gone sooner rather than later, and everyone knows that CH is at best, at best a competent back up. I know most people don't agree with me but I say if Manziel is available you take him, with his mobility the O line has time to get better. It almost seems that Coach Gus wants a game manager and will go mostly defense here. A lights out D would indeed help the offense but there is needs to be answered on the o line and at skill positions. Your can't win without points.

I like Shaw as well, and hope he does well, but he likes to lead with his head and shoulders too much. He's tough as nails but not as durable as one would think he may be. Of course we all know he won't be playing long at all if he doesn't learn to slide feet first. My opinion is take Manziel if he's available, if not then take Bortles or McCarron.
