What do the current WR look like since Kirk and Zay Jones signings?

He has definitely been rising up boards a lot lately. I haven't watched him, but it sounds like he could be a solid pick at 65 or 70. Not sure he's lasting until 106.

How do you initiate this trade though?

Give 1 for Metcalf? Swap 1 with 9 as well? Leave it at that?

Is that fair?

Or... would you give up 1 for Metcalf and ask for picks 40 & 41 instead?

No, I think it starts with 33. The main pieces for Davante was pick 22 and 53, and for Tyreek was 29 and 50. DK is a tier below them so I think something like 33 and 65 should be good for DK. He would of course have to agree to a long term deal with us too.

This is the answer. Swap #1 for #9 and D.K. Metcalf. If they don't go for that, throw in Laviska Shenault. That should get it done. We could then draft Jermaine Johnson at #9 and fill our two biggest needs in round 1.

In no particular order......

DeAndre Hopkins
Stefon Diggs
Ja'Marr Chase
Tee Higgins
D.J. Moore
Amari Cooper
CeeDee Lamb
Brandin Cooks
Davante Adams
Cooper Kupp
Justin Jefferson
Keenan Allen
Mike Williams
Jaylen Waddle
Tyreek Hill
Deebo Samuel
D.K. Metcalf
Tyler Lockett
Mike Evans
Chris Godwin
Terry McLaurin
A.J. Brown
Robert Woods

Obviously, there are different levels of #1 receivers, but as a whole, these are the guys. I think Diontae Johnson is a fringe first rounder and guys like Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy Darnell Mooney and DeVonta Smith have a chance to prove they are #1 receivers this season, but they aren't there yet.

When I look at this list it makes me upset that several teams have two #1 guys and you can make an argument that we might not even have a #1 or #2. We certainly don't have a game breaker and I don't see us having a big possession WR who consistently moves the chains either.

If we have 6 receivers at 900 yds or thereabouts, are we going to declare the season a loss?
I don't give a crap about individual stats. I don't play fantasy, I don't have to pay a guy an incentive for hitting a milestone, nor am I a player's agent who might get a cut or some star to pin to my resume for getting my guy an extra few dollars.

Just frickin win, baby.

In the truest Highlander sense, there can only be one.

I don't believe that at all.
I only saw this because you quoted it but Mikey's Post is pretty incredible.

He quotes my post then goes on about Marrone being a better coach and his 900 yard receiver angle.   All I did was state a fact and Mikey makes up his own argument  in his mind on what I am implying.  Amazing!

Jags should go all in on this.  A 2nd round pick and not look back.  I would even be open to giving them the 1st overall and then giving us back a 2nd.

This is a guaranteed young WR that would be an instant star for Trevor.  The draft is a crap shoot so trade the capital away for the sure thing.  Been working for the Rams lately.

Was reading reports the Denzel Mims was not likely to make the roster of the Jets. I remember some of the board high on him during his draft.

Would it be worth going after him to see if can fix his career in Jax?

He has #1 receiver attributes so it couldn't hurt to bring him in for camp.

You stated that DP has never had a 1000 yard receiver. WHO GIVES A CRAP?

Stats without context can be misleading. Was a receiver on pace to break 1k, but got hurt? Was the team spreading the ball to multiple targets? Were you alleging that a good coach doesn't need one dominant player in order to be successful? You throw a one-liner out there and the board is left to guess your point.

My point was that I do not care about individual stats so long as the wins come. If that was also your attempt at a point, maybe expound on your spittle so that we're not left to speculate.

And cripes almighty, when you see a post in @'s @like this@, that's an indicator that the content within is frigging sarcasm. Don't play dumb, lest you convince your audience.

but if you'd rather play the martyr, so be it.

I think the JETS would take a ham sandwich for Mims at this point.  Some new scenery would be good for both parties.  Maybe he gets healthy and things click, but as of now, it would be tough to count on him as a major contributor with his 2 year track record.  Who would you cut to make room for him?

If we can get DK that means the Jags are opening the window for Lawrence to make this team a playoff team. You’re also about to get the best defensive player in the country.

We still need to fix both safety spots even with a healthy Cisco.

LOL. After all the bad things I've said about him, he'd never answer my call. Like he even knows who I am. I just don't want him to do anything really stupid.

Well the PFF mock draft simulator now allows player trades and Seattle accepted DK, 9 overall, their 2nd this year, and their first next year for #1 overall LOL. They need to do some tweaking to the formula.
