Steelers get Pickett. Big deal. I don't see him beating out Trubisky.

agreed. time to get back into the 1st man!

i wish we can do it without giving up our early 2nd... but, that's not likely.
I have a feeling that's what baalke will say when asked why we didn't trade up. Well, the price tag was too high because we didn't want to give up our early 2nd. Pick 33 is in.....no reason for not trading it to move up. Hope I'm wrong

maybe not right away... but Pickett will be their starter by mid season.

GB and KC gonna snag the remaining WR's... no doubt about it and Baltimore is there to pickup the scraps.

KC just jumped GB with a trade to the Pats.

I have a feeling the price for the Jags to move up has been starting at #33 + #65 and something else. Maybe because people don't like Baalke, but more so because most of the trades have been already proven WR's or two 2nd round picks.

Edit... the KC/Patriots trade is one the Jags should have made. That is price is reasonable.

you're probably right on the value... that's likely the benchmark to the conversation.

What, Chiefs? I don't give all that up for a DB.

He's limited by size. Same way I think Williams will be. They said he weigh 179 lbs!!! At 6'2!!! That's a injury waiting to happen.

Devontae is like 6'1, 170.

I have zero room for baalke and his nonsense. The trade is nice and there was never a doubt we should've been able to move up reasonably. Baalke is a cancer to this team and has shown he is not leaving without chemo

I was at the draft party at Daily's Place. A lot of cheers when Walker was picked. I was hoping for Neal because we need more on the OL, but Walker will work out fine. He's country boy strong with good hands and seems to be coachable for whatever role he's chosen. My bets are he'll be a durable and consistent force on our defense.

Or should I pout and slam the door on my way out?

That must have been their target and they knew he wouldn't last  based on other trades. They do need CB and honestly they didn't give up that much.

They don't have like 12 roster spots to fill. All those 4th and 5th rounders may not even make their roster.

I wonder if Baalke made any calls to try and trade up. These teams around us are not giving up a ton.
