You obviously dont understand that pass rushing isnt the only issue.  What is pass rushers gonna do if they just run the ball on you?  You have to be able to stop the run first.

Quote:I watch a lot of football to mostly redzone in NFL. I love Cfb to and never been impressed with Michael Johnson at GT or Cinci. Carlos Dunlap and Geno Atkins cleary strength of there defense.

Have you ever been their too see him play?

I never said i'm against the signing, just not as excited as everyone else for obvious reasons.

Good luck to Big Red. Although I was hoping we could somehow get him back to a 1 or 2 year contract, I was expecting he'll end up in Jacksonville and Gus didn't need much time to sign him. It's a good move for Red and for the Jaguars.

You fans will like him a lot. I don't know who are your current team leaders, but he will quickly win over his new teammates and I wouldn't be surprised if they voted him one of the team captains. When Big Red talks, everybody listen to him.

Yes, he's a good athlete for a guy of his size.

You don't look at stats with a guy like him. He's a run stuffer primarily (and that's not a bad thing when you play twice a year against Arian Foster), although he can get a solid pressure on QB on passing 1st and 2nd downs, but of course not like a "traditional 4-3 DE" in other teams. Obviously he doesn't have sacks, because he's not explosive enough to get after QB's, but that's not his job in first place. If he can help your team to more 3rd&long situations, consider his job well done. He'll play more on 3rd downs this year, because you don't have a DL depth we had last year, but if Gus plan works, Bryant won't have to play much on 3rd downs.

No I sure haven't but he's a pretty good athlete not great. I'd like to see more production then 3 sacks. Dunlap is the real deal.

Now if we can get Bennett too

Yeah Gus sure would be well on way to building strong defense.

One thing to keep in mind is that Bennett doesn't have a strong connection to Gus like Big Red. Of course you have enough cap space to make him the offer he can't refuse, but I think he will either stay in Seattle or go to play with his brother in Chicago. I really hope he stays, I will be disappointed if we lose both Bennett and Red in one offseason. But I don't see us overpaying him with ET, Sherm and Wilson's contracts coming up next, so if some team offers him 10+ mil. per year, he's 99% gone.

Would love to have him, Very hard not to be a fan of Wilson.

Carries himself like a consummate pro and his teammates rally around him

Could only dream of having him here

I honestly think Wilson could be a Senator or President one day

He's brought here solely for his run stuffing ability and

leadership

I really like Russel and what he stands for as a man with faith. I also watched Red Bryant video from SB week sharing faith. I'm not convinced Wilson is as great as people thank. The Seahawks and 49ers meh lol have best 2 rosters in nfl. Russel had great defense and Marshawn beast mode. I hope Russel continues to improve. Go Jaguars

Hey Seasea have u watched Jags SS Jonathan Cyprien and do u think he's similar to Cam Chancellor? I realize Cam has play a few years Cyp just 1 yr just wondering your thoughts. Thank You

Think of him like Justin Smith on the 49ers. He allows other players (Bowman and Aldon) to do all the pass rushing. If we can get Mack or Clowney then it would definitely help.

Lets add Cromartie and Oline help in FANTASY as well.

Well.. Bowman isn't a pass rusher, and this isn't a 3-4 defense so..
