woah 17 QB coaches rather have Carr then Manziel

John David booty looked good throwing in those kind of pockets. I don't want to see someone throw from clean pockets, thats not what happens in the NFL.

That video just proves that Johnny can play from the pocket. There are lies floating around that he can't.

Even you could throw in those pockets lol

It was a highlight video, could make one of those for any prospect.

It's a highlight but it displays his elite arm strength, accuracy, field vision and perfect ball placement. It can be used as a measuring tool just like throwing at the combine/pro-day. But even better because it's actually game action.

Ok, so it's exactly like every other highlight video of any other QB prospect. They all show those things.

Exactly. JFF is on par if not better than the top QB prospects in terms of passing from inside the pocket. However, he blows everyone out of the water when you factor in his elite pocket presence, sixth sense, improv, mobility and speed to escape a muddied pocket and extend/make plays downfield or take it to the house himself. He has a much more robust and dynamic game than any other player in the draft because of his triple threat capabilities.

Do you think Manziel is as good as Luck Manning or Elway?

When you look at the total package he is right there with them. You have to look at the total play making package. Elway is the most overrated QB of all time in my book. He had horrible passing stats. Career 56% passer with 79 QB rating. Those numbers will get you unemployed quickly these days. Those are Blaine Gabbert numbers. Luck also isn't much better with a line of 57/81. Those 2 QBs are a product of the media hype train.

Stats don't lie bro.  You are what your stats say.  People try to spin it like "He Wins" but in reality the team won and the wins would probably be easier if the QB was more efficient.  People think Luck is great but the truth is he digs his teams a huge hole by throwing a ton of picks then he needs to rally them back.  If he would make better decisions his team won't be down in the first place.  Let's not forget Elway is just another Jim Kelly without Terrell Davis.  The Broncos were ready to replace Elway when they drafted Tommy Maddox in the 1st Round in 1992 when Elway was only 31 years old.

You asked a question and I answered with my opinion and supported my argument with facts. Why would I disappear when the season starts?

You are throw out stats like they mean something. How about actually analyzing how they play and how their game translates to the NFL.

1. First you disrespect a HOF in Elway

2. Then you proceed to call Luck overrated when he lead the colts twice to 11-5 and once as AFC South champions

You'll disappear even before the season when Manziel drops in the draft and is backing someone up

Odds are that Manziel has a Vince Young or RG3 type rookie year, but then fails to elevate his game. We have seen it happen time and time again.

Manziel and pocket presence in the same sentence? He hangs on to the ball too long behind an NFL line and waits for guys to get open as opposed to throwing them open. He makes plays in college because he is the superior athlete, in the NFL he is not. Honestly he's a third round guy at best.

1.  Calling it like I see it.  Everyone has a revisionist history on Elway because he retired after winning back to back SB's.  In reality he was a game manager that relied on his defense until Shanahan got there.  He was unable to elevate his game nor his teammates and came up short 3 times in the SB.  Then Shanahan got there and the offense took off with their great zone blocking running scheme that Terrell Davis carried to the their 2 SB's.  Elway finished with a 56% comp/79rating/220yd-per game/3:2 TD to Int ratio.  Those are mediocre stats.

2.  Luck's record has to do with him playing in the worst division in Football.
