Everyone is reading WAY too much into this.  Henne is the best QB currently on the roster, therefore he is the starter.  He will remain the starter until displaced by someone better.  It's really that simple.  Whether that player comes through the draft (at any pick or in any round) or through FA is irrelevant.

As well as Gabbert last year. He started, but couldnt regain his status. So this Henne freakout is so laughable.

And to those who keep saying "I wouldnt want that player" or "I wouldnt pay him that". STOP IT.

What YOU want is irrelevant. What you think the team should do is one thing but what "I want" means squat.

I don't get all the Henne hate. He is an average quarterback, if he was surrounded by good players he will look decent. When he is surrounded by crap like our interior o line and inexperienced receivers he will look bad. Most qbs in the league are the same.
