I know this will get eye rolls, but why isn't leading with the helmet spearing? I know he was aiming the ball, but I thought it wasn't allowed?

Wingard had a good year last year. As long as he doesn't blow any coverages like he did a few years ago he is not terrible (I used to despise him).

My issue was him being 40 yard off the LoS basically every play.

Whether it was by design, skill deficiencies or w/e, it was not looking good.

This team is still very young, and early in a rebuild. Franchises don't really build depth until they are legit title contenders.
