We already have Patrick Lewis form Texas A&M on the roster was a rookie last year why draft another. We actually have 2 rookiee centers on the roster from last year.

They are warm bodies, not quality starting caliber centers to be the captain of your OL.

Maybe he's a good system fit. Because otherwise he is pretty average.

@caplannfl: A team to watch for G Zane Beadles: #Jaguars. Fits zone blocking scheme well. Way more athletic than Nwaneri.

If it is Beadles, Dietrich-Smith or Schwartz U would think it will be something like 4 yr/20 million. Probably front loaded.

But just as "average" as Nwaneri...

 

"Appeared" to be better than he really is because of the QB that is one of the quickest in NFL to get rid of ball. On another team, Beadles won't look so good.

Not thrilled with Schwartz either, but would certainly choose him over Beadles if they were the only options...

Peyton Manning made him look good.  He will get exposed as a downgrade from Nwaneri with Henne at QB.
