Traded pick #3 to Atlanta for Picks # 6, #70, and #99, so they could take Clowney.
St. Louis takes pick #6 for picks #13, #75 and #106, to select Sammy Watkins to pair with Jake Matthews who they picked @ 2. Carolina takes pick # 13 for picks #28, #60, and #92 to select Greg Robinson to replace retiring Jordan Gross. Jacksonville has now turned the #3 pick into: #28, #60, #70, #75, #92, #99, and #106. Teddy went #1, Mack #5, Dennard #12...if Mack/Dennard had lasted to my pick they would have been the selections. Jacksonville trades picks #60, #101, and #115 to Dallas for pick #47. <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">28 <div>OLB DEE FORD AUBURN </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">39 <div>OLB KYLE VAN NOY BYU </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">47 <div>G XAVIER SU'A-FILO UCLA </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">68 <div>TE TROY NIKLAS NOTRE DAME </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">70 <div>WR DONTE MONCRIEF MISSISSIPPI </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">75 <div>CB STANLEY JEAN- BAPTISTE NEBRASKA </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">92 <div>QB JIMMY GAROPPOLO EASTERN ILLINOIS </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">99 <div>RB LACHE SEASTRUNK BAYLOR </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">106 <div>C MARCUS MARTIN USC </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">132 <div>DT CARAUN REID PRINCETON </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">138 <div>OLB ADRIAN HUBBARD ALABAMA </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">147 <div>ILB LAMIN BARROW LSU </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">163 <div>QB LOGAN THOMAS VIRGINIA TECH </div> </div> <div style="font-size:30px;text-align:center;">199 <div>RB DRI ARCHER KENT STATE </div> </div> Would be stoked if actual draft fell this way. Only change looking back I would have made was DT - Stephon Tuitt fell all the way to pick # 59. I would have traded a future 2nd Rounder along with picks #132 and #147 in order to draft him.
The thing that I don't like about your draft Blue Eyes, is that in my opinion there are four top-tier playmakers available in this draft. In no particular order they are Bridgewater, Clowney, Mack, and Watkins. In your scenario, we didn't get any of them. I like having picks and all, but I like having top tier players even more.

I agree on this. Teddy went #1 so he was off the board. I tried to make the trades seems realistic and not just what the "simulator" gave me and in order to get those trades you have to have top-tier players to offer. Atlanta is known to want Clowney and both the Jags/Falcons FOs are connected so its an easy trade. As I noted in the draft, Mack goes off the board @ #5...if he had been there I would have gladly taken Mack + an early 3rd &4th for Clowney. Watkins was very tempting @ #6 but I feel in a deep draft and our WR corp being one of our "better" groups on the team that he could be passed over. I know that St. Louis GM has a connection to Atlanta GM and that they want a WR badly and had to get in front of Detroit @ 10. I assume that Caldwell has some connection to the St. Louis GM so its another realistic trade oppurtunity. After the above 4 were gone, the only player I like as an impact scheme fit is CB - Dennard - Michigan State but as luck/risk had it he goes @ #12. At this point, nobody in my eye seemed worth #13 but Carolina wanting to replace Jordan Gross and get ahead of Arizona gave an offer that seemed to be worth it in order to grab Greg Robinson. In this draft, I feel you get your: 1 - Impact Leo in Dee Ford 2 - Jack of all trades LB that can rush/cover in Van Noy 2 - Last impactful OG as Yankey/Jackson went off the board which caused me to trade - Sua'Filo 3 - TE that can stretch the seam and best TE left on the board - Nicklas 3 - A WR that has #1 WR tools but just needs to put it all together - Moncrief 3 - A Scheme fit CB in Jean-Baptiste 3 - Your Developmental QB that you hope can possibly start midway thru the season - Garoppolo 4 - Dynamic HB in Seastrunk 4 - Some have as the #1 OC in the draft - Martin My thinking I guess is which of these Options would you want: A: Clowney (keeping pick #3) B: Mack, Moncrief or Jean-Baptiste, and Seastrunk or Garoppolo (trading #3 for #6, #70, #90) C: Ford, Moncrief, Sua'Filo, Jean Baptiste ,Garoppolo, Seastrunk (trading #6 for #28, #60,#92 or basically #3 for #28,60,70,90,92) This is assuming our assigned picks went: 2nd - Van Noy 3rd - Nicklas 4th - Seastrunk or Garoppolo 4th - Martin 5th - Caron Reid 5th - Hubbard Quote:... Give me "A" with those assumptions or "B". For some reason, I am parked on the Mack Bandwagon. I think he's going to be a fine player. That being said, if you get Clowney, Van Noy, Nicklas in the Third and Garoppolo in the Fourth with this draft, I'd be very happy. Like, no pants on Tuesday level of happy.

Yea I would be happy with "B" but in my draft he went at #5 I guess the biggest thing I like about Option C is that you get 3 additonal starters in: Sua'Filo (which I feel will be an impact starter) and Moncrief/Jean-Baptiste (which could both end up being very impactful as both have very good tools that need honing) by taking Ford instead of Clowney/Mack.
