Would like to welcome you Philly fans.  I was thinking about posting on your message board.  I love talking sports with you guys.  I find both Eagles and Jags fans to be quite knowledgeable and passionate.  Both Jacksonville and Philly have shared tough sports history.  (remember the '64 Phillies). 
  Having been born, raised and worked in Philly, I am still a fan of the Eagles, Phillies and Flyers.  Seeing the Eagles and Doug win the SB helped soften the blow to our loss to NE. {Myles Jack was NOT down)  My main hope for this game is a Jags win and no injuries to either team.  Hope we meet you in the SB.......sooner or later.

About the game......I see it may come down to both lines, containing Hurts or not, and can Pederson out-coach Sirianni.  I probably worry most about their defensive line. (Cox is a beast)  Will be a big test for the OL and Trevor.

I cannot wait until Sunday. This should have been a primetime game IMO. Doug vs Sirianni, Hurts vs Lawrence. None better at the moment. I'm ready to fun through a wall now, I'm so hyped.

We haven't faced a double threat like Hurts yet. That's my biggest concern about this game. I'm curious to how our D responds and if they can contain him. It will be good prep for Mahomes, Russell and Jackson further along in the schedule.

Being so sure of something and then ragequitting over it and then being proven wrong so quickly...  A lot of people would probably slow roll coming back under such circumstances.

I have had my moments on here since being around at the ripe old age of 15. No judgement here now at 34. LOL.

Miss them both though at the moment. Especially Bullseye. Olinematters is one of the few reasons I would pop into the college gameday forum. Always valued his insights on several positions. Especially this off season.

It’s just one of the funniest goodbyes this forum has ever had.  He did contribute as you mentioned and those who contribute should be valued here.

Bullseye is more concerning as, unless I missed an update, he’s just vanished and some were saying he was dealing with health issues previously. So, hope everything is ok with him.  He added a lot here.

I'm excited, but still trying to hold it in because we've been burned way too many times before by this Franchise.

Remember the 2018 season? Coming off getting screwed in the AFC Championship game vs the Pats, we had a big week 2 rematch with the Pats in 2018. Kicked the crap out of them and ended up starting the season 3-1. Things were great. Only to then completely collapse and end the season with a 5-11 record.

I know this feels different, but we've been burned so many times by this team, it's always in the back of my mind, until it isn't.
