My lord, does the Jaguars finally winning really signify the end of the world?

No kidding.  It's only 150 MPH winds with projectiles flying at him.  This dude was just in the eye of the Hurricane.

He needs to suck it up and be a man like Jim Cantore and go out and have affairs with his coworkers.

You get an A+ for quoting my post out of context.

How in the hell are those doors holding back the weight of that water? Incredible.

I was thinking about that too.. The only thing I came up with was they used much longer screws for the doorknob lockplate..

The concert venue I work for (and spent two years helping to build up proper physical infrastructure for stage, lighting and sound) was right in the path of the eye wall in Charlotte County. It took 100mph + winds for 4 or 5 hours.  All the cameras are down of course - so I can't see it - and nearby residents can't get to it yet for down trees, flooding and still bad wind at this hour.
It's an outdoor covered pavilion space. Basically like a 25K sq.ft metal structure warehouse with a roof but no walls.
I fully expect lots of damage,  months worth of insurance haggling, and weeks worth of repair.
Leaving Jax Saturday morning to head down and begin putting it back together.

NYC checks in safe during Hurricane Ian.  Glad to hear, Man.  Sorry 'bout the place.

Well 8:00 call comes to shut it down no shop tomorrow, call the crew and then power goes out by 9:45 hopefully it's not out to long but who knows. Usually slow to turn it back on out here last time it was about two weeks.

Safe and dry (so far). We were pretty lucky, Fort Meyers area looks like they really got beat up.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.
