Our defense has been helped a lot by the offense running the ball and controlling the clock. That hasn’t happened today.

The backs and offensive line weren't really on the same page for the runs, especially with ETN. I'm not sure if it was scheme or execution.

You still have to keep running it and maybe they can get it going.  You can't go away from the run early in the 2nd quarter especially in weather like this

I honestly don't think they went away from it. I just think they are out of rhythm play calling. 

You had one 6 play drive with a fumbled 4th down with 2 running plays.
You had one 3-and-out with give up run on 3rd down, but even 1 of throws were basically runs with throws behind the line of scrimmage.
You had one 3 play drive with a fumble QB sneak with 1 run play and another throw behind the line of scrimmage.

Honestly the bigger argument is that the Jags are not challenging the middle of the field well enough, and our offensive line is just not mobile enough to run the type of mis-direction runs that Philly runs.

The Eagles are far from the best team in the league lol.  They have done nothing special.  The Jags have given it away.

LOL… Sure, right, LOL… The Eagles coaching staff deserve the game ball for this one. Recognizing the elements and shifting to a run/screen attack in the second quarter.

The only complaint I ever had of Pederson is that it seems that he slow to react to changes in what he expected…

Game balls aren't given out at half time.

Eagles are a more experience team and in the 2nd year of Sirianni's offense, even if they added a big piece in Brown. Plus home field and elements.

Jags can still make this a game. Pederson does need to adjust the offense a bit, but the players also need to execute. Hard to overcome silly fumbles.

They definitely went away from it.  A pass is not a run in these weather conditions, it's risky.  I mean runs with the RBs, we should be running it in 1st down more often than not like we did in the 1st.   You get a incompletion on 1st and it puts us in a bad position in this weather.  Run the ball

It wasn’t pretty. Defense is our strength though, so we need them to start slowing Philly down. Lawrence and offense going to have to pick it big time. Turn overs killed us first half.

Doug Pederson and the playcalling needs to be better. Don't understand why we abandon the run game in heavy rain and 17mph winds. Can't come out in empty sets.

And this defense needs to make a stop on this opening 2nd half drive here or we could solidify a loss today.
