Todman and a second year Robinson will be a nice trio. We saw a couple of flashes from Robinson (remember it was his first year as a RB) last year, the guy is freakishly fast.

 

I don't like Robinson as a RB. Too thin, built like a WR. Cannot run inside. Simply doesn't have the instincts for the RB position, IMO. 

 

Yeah he was able to do all that stuff while at the QB position in Michigan, but its different from the RB position. I mean, guys like Randall Cunningham or Kaepernick wouldn't be good NFL RB despite being good running QB>

Nah, its reasonable. Its like 3.5 per, and only 4.5 guaranteed. 

 

But they still need a quicker RB to compliment him with, unless they feel that is Todman. 

 

Todman really shouldn't even be a #2 RB. Ill be surprised if he's on the roster after camp.

I wouldn't like him as a 25-carry workhorse for that reason, but for the change of pace role he's in, that's not a huge limitation.

Actually Jennings more than proved himself this past year, not that he needed to....

 

and he just signed with the GIants. Will be their starter next year.

In a ZBS, he fits perfectly. Great vision, he's patient, and is a bruiser. His speed isn't great but he can run away from guys.

He's ran for 1,000 yards in every single one of his NFL seasons and only missed one game (in his rookie year). I'd happily have had CJ on this team if he was 4 years younger.
