But dad would tell stories about going to Yankees games and Giants games when he was 12 and 13 years old, and I'd say, "then why can't I go?" and he'd start talking about parking costs and traffic jams and subways etc. Glad I got to start going with friends around age 16.

Anyhow the happy ending is I convinced my dad to come to a game with me and my wife finally. He never went again but he does have the picture framed. You only get one childhood but it's never too late for father son time!

It was my bad luck that the one Jags game I saw with my Dad was the AFC Championship game vs the Tacks. Ugh.

And no I wont.

LOL. Yes, you are entitled to the choices that you make. Enjoy your 75" and Leather Recliner.

I miss the days of blasting "Might Getcha" by David Banner any time the Defense was on the field. It fired them up, it fired the crowd up, and it just gave the entire unit a swagger that outside of 2017 we have just lacked since.

I understand why they stopped playing it; The lyrics "might get your car shot up" in the wake of Richard Collier's shooting would have been in poor taste. I'm wondering if we can redact that verse or play a soundbyte that doesn't include that part so we can bring it back. I know "Sweet Home Alabama" has been associated with the Jags since they've existed & that Skynard is a Jacksonville originated band; But I always felt that "Might Getcha" was the most Jaguars song that there was.

Anybody feel the same?
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Two words: Ear Plugs. People may give you crap, but who cares. In my experience, if you get the right kind, you can enjoy the same excitement from the crowd without the headache of excessively loud noise.

Yeah that too.  But you kinda just said you’re dad didn’t like you either.  So, I don’t feel bad anymore. We’re not even family.

My dad isn't really an "other people" person most of the time, if you know what I mean.  Although he liked you just fine, until that Halloween incident.  Eggs and TP were understandable, but used condoms? Who does that? Dude.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Used?  Are you sure?  What kind of inspection process was used, and were there a lot of them?  Should have saved them for the cops Smile

I do when I go to the game. I have tinnitus which sucks and I don't need anything to make it worse, especially when the Jags lose anyway , lol.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

…uh…idk.  You got me.  Ask your mom maybe? She’s into “other people”, well, other people are into her. You know what I mean…son.   Big Grin

Btw, she Wanted me to ask you to pick up chocolate syrup on the way home.  Apparently, you’re out.

She divorced my dad a long time ago so whatever you two are up to has nothing to do with him or me.  So enjoy! Just keep her happy and don't tell her husband, he's ex navy and they aren't afraid to rumble.

Not surprised.  She always seemed to enjoy all the Sea Men(sp) she could get.
