He was a second round draft pick for a reason, and he's a bruiser back with low mileage so I have no problems whatsoever with him.

WHat I do like is that he still has lots of tread on those fresh tires.  For a RB, it carries extra importance as we have seen, they tend to wear down as early as their late 20's when they have endured consistently heavy workloads.

Gerhart is a good signing, for a team that was looking for a bigger back to complement the smaller Todman and DRob. He is also very good in pass pro and good hands for receiving. I like that Caldwell is addressing glaring needs in free agency thus far, which will allow him the freedom to choose the best player on his board in the draft with most of his choices.

and he just signed with the GIants. Will be their starter next year.

If DRob fixes his fumbling issues and spends this offseason learning how to be a RB he'll be very good. The few flashes we've seen last year shows that. Gerhart would be the perfect compliment to him.

if you are saying Jennings isn't good, then you don't know what you are looking at. He played very well for the Raiders last year. He had a down year his last with the Jags, and it cost him. Otherwise, he played well here, too. He should be a 1000 yard RB for the Giants, pending major injury.

Good signing.  Complimentary back with some speed and good power.  Decent price.  And our RB position has been awful the last couple years.  Not sure why anyone would complain unless they complain about everything.

They don't need MoJo with Gerhart, they need a quick back to pair with him. MoJo is probably a lesser Gerhart at this stage.

Gerhart is a short yardage back, this could give MJD a chance to ease his load and I think they have intentions on mixing Denard in there and having sort of a RB by committee.
