3. Trevor Lawrence - Although he didn't have huge yardage numbers, Lawrence was very efficient and effective today. He was 20 for 22 passing with 3 TD's (2 rushing, 1 passing) and 0 turnovers. He also had 3 runs for first downs including 2 critical ones that occurred on 3rd and 4th downs.
2. ETN - He had 86 rushing yards on 10 carries or a 8.6 yards per carry average. Of course, this was helped by a 48 yard run. He also had 22 receiving yards making him finish with 108 all purpose yards. 3. Hasty - He had a 61 yard run for a touchdown. It was one play, but it was huge. Geico had it as NFL's play of the day. NC - Griffin. He was getting abused all day. If we could pick groups, the defense would get it. We had no sacks, no interceptions, no fumble recoveries and gave up 34 points despite the Colts' top two running backs being out with injury.
-1 Cam : Got toasted on a few plays this week. Almost rather he take a holding penalty than give up a major loss on a sack. At least with the flag we get to re-do the down.
-2 Allen: You're supposed to be leading this D, man. If Allen's rush improves, it will create opportunity for the rookie to show out. Neither one is getting it done, but the expectation lies squarely on Allen's shoulders. -3 Griffin: Good gravy he got abused today. One good play on a late throw on the sideline doesn't offset the countless beats. 1 Trevor: Nothing amazing in passing stats, but didn't beat us with mistakes or terrible decisions. That 4th quarter drive was what we need more of. He looked to be a lot more confident to keep and get his own yards if plays weren't there. Can't put this one on him at all. 2: Etienne: Dude was getting it, big runs and showing his speed on the artificial field. Hopefully we see more of that. NC: That horrible screen where Trevor faked handoff left, spins, swing pass right - Who calls a play that requires the QB to turn his back to the D and the prospective receiver? Yeesh.
3. Trevor Lawrence
2. Travis Etienne 1. JaMycal Hasty ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king." We show less advertisements to registered users.
