Lots of talk about ETN getting more touches and of course folks debating if Robinson should receive less.
( I think utilizing them both is the way to succeed - while gameday play calls should reflect what is working best against that defense)

Something important to note in all of this is that they have been utilizing Robinson on 3rd down the past two weeks in a protection role.  Because of that - some of the early downs work he was receiving has gone to ETN.

It's working out pretty well, and given the giants' blitz packages, I'm sure we'll see Robinson in protection on 3rd down again.

Gotta find a way to keep them both heavily involved. We already know good things happen when JRob gets the ball and it's looking like good things can also happen when ETN gets the ball. Got to find a way to feed the duo. Can't phase one out for the other.

I don't know man. Looks like Robinson is slowly getting phased out of the offense. Started back in week four with Philadelphia. 

Week Four:
Etienne and Robinson both had 8 carries each. Both struggled to really add any yardage. 

Week Five:
Etienne and Robinson both had 10 carries each. (This is where it starts, Etienne was 10 for 71 and Robinson was 10 for 27)

Week Six:
Etienne goes 10 for 86 and Robinson goes 12 for 54. (Again, like week five, Etienne is doing more with less or more with same opportunities)

Week Seven: 
Etienne gets 14 carries and Robinson doesn't get any. 

Then you add in Pederson being question about it and Robinson being questioned about it and you get some pretty interesting information. First, they say it's lower injuries, then, sounds like Robinson denies anything is going on. 

Then, Pederson says it has nothing to do with losing confidence in Robinson and just really Etienne playing better than him. Then Mia O'Brien today reveals the whole fluid in his knee situation supposedly from Saturday. 

I think it's business. I can't see them trying to tie up a good amount of cap space in the backfield when they have other issues to address going into next year. I expect Hasty to continue to get more opportunities. There's also a reason why they traded up and drafted Snoop Conner, albeit, he's clearly not worked out as the player they were hoping he could be. 

However, it's pretty apparent they're more than likely going their separate ways after this year. He's a free agent next year. I don't see them reaching an agreement if Robinson feels he can be the full time starter elsewhere. Here's another thing to consider. They have been without Agnew the last two weeks. You would think that would make them more inclined to use Robinson. They haven't.

He takes too many hard hits. 
I doubt he lasts 17 games if he's getting 12+ carries per game plus the targets. 

Hopefully they are up his [BLEEP] about securing the ball this week in practice.

This one is an 8 man. Etienne wasn't being utilized as much with Robinson getting all the carries, so there were better options available. When I saw how he was starting to get used, I knew Jrob was going to take a backseat in touches.

Yes, because he goes from a 10 carry a game back to a 20 carry a game back. Doubling the load on anything will have you question its durability under said new load. This isn't rocket science.

He became "less durable" in my mind after watching him play for 2 games. 
Players have varying styles and technique associated with taking a hit as a ball carrier. His style is reckless. 

I also never compared him to anyone, but I did see others do so as you recall.

He became "less durable" in my mind after watching him play for 2 games.

Yeah he uses his spin move liberally and has spun right into a hit on more than one occasion. Hopefully those are lessons for him moving forward.

Coach needs to do like in that movie the program. Anytime Etienne comes on stadium grounds and in the film room he needs to have the ball secured in his hands, players at ant time can try to knock it out when the feel he's slipping. Do it for 1 month
