I wish we hadn't gotten rid of Minshew. I really think he had promise. He just needed a good supporting cast.

Potential aside, Minshew would be a better option *right now*. As would CJ Brethard. Something's not clicking for Lawrence mentally.

He certainly does but like you say, he's not the only one who deserves some. Plenty of them are stealing a pay check right now

Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency. 


1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.  

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

Turnover down on the 1, turnover down 4 late. Dude is a turnover machine and in big situations folds faster than a cheap lawn chair. He gets one more season, but he looks done as a QB. I'd draft one and next year is 100% open competition. Should have kept Minshew, this team would be 4-3 at worst with just an average-ish(what Minsh is) QB that protects the football.
