Emmanuel Sanders visited Jaguars signed with Denver/Manning in decline?

Quote:10 YPC.....yuck. Can we get a WR in here who gets upwards of 13-15+ YPC chunks, please???

Classic TMD.  Relying on stats and/or youtube highlights when forming his knee-jerk reactions.

Quote:Emmanuel Sanders wouldn't be a "camp" guy....he'd be signed as a starter.

With the guys we have now, of course.

Quote:Sanders averages 13.7 on the year and had 14.2 last year. But hey, don't let me ruin your fun.

yeah, and those are short pass & YAC yard totals.

What I am talking about is the kind of WR that is about 6'1, or taller and 215+ and can make plays on deeper passes by beating tight coverage with outjumping/ outphysical-ing the DB for the ball. Other than Blackmon we have no one that can do that.

Sanders would be a stupid signing. Overkill of that type of WR.

Ace is already that guy.

You cant cheat up to the los if you get beat of the los consistently by small fast wrs

Just because you mostly run a West Coast offense doesnt mean that people never go deep. Look at Blackmon who is a physical WR he didnt go deep that often but if you catch a slant and then get 7 more yards thats a 15 yard gain and your give it to your RB who grinds out the defense. Shorts,Sanders, and Blackmon sounds pretty damn good to me

11 YPC last year, and 13-14 in his years before that. So there you go.

According to espn.com, he averaged 11 yards last year and 12.6 a year.  The 14.2 was 2012.  Either way, I still wouldn't mind him on this team.  I've seen him play and I think he can bring a lot to this offense.

Those dont grow on trees bruh. Much much harder to find than you seem to realize.

If they were easy to get, everyone would have one!

Agreed.  Emmanuel is another of these smallish type WR that I can't stand.  I'd rather just give Nicks a 1 year prove it deal instead.
Nicks has stated numerous times that he's out to get paid.  Did you miss that?   He's not a fit for the Gus Bus or Caldwell's FA philosophy.

Sanders is faster than any receiver on our roster.  That makes him an asset at the right price.

Ace Sanders, Blackmon, Cecil and adding another WR like Devante Adams or Jordan Matthews would be the better way to go.

We do not need Emmanuel Sanders at all or anyone of that similar skill set -we have that already in Ace Sanders. You don't need a bunch of those type.

Ok, so what I was off on the number, big deal, he's still not the type of WR that I am talking about that we need. We have that already in Ace.

I LOL at you for thinking Emmanuel Sanders is anything special. He aint crap. He's been a 2 TD or less player for his entire career until this past contract year. He's a nothing. Another midget who is not a difference maker.

"lol"

Mathews has a lot of drops and Adams isnt very impressive to me. We like to play Blackmon in the slot so Sanders would be outside with Shorts and i dont believe Ace can play outside effectively,he is a gadget guy.

You think this signing would be a Muhammed Massoquoi type? uh no.

Also, a buyers market??? lol, not when Golden Tate gets 6.1 MIL per....
