Emmanuel Sanders visited Jaguars signed with Denver/Manning in decline?

Quote:I'm just curious what big wr did Seattle have last year? Pretty sure it was that other team who got whooped with the size! It's all about what type of wr's for your scheme and sanders fist perfectly Perfectly said. Was thinking the same thing. But your not going to be right! He's a waste!

It's all about what type of wr's for your scheme and sanders fist perfectly SEattle also has Russell Wilson....does that mean that every team should go out and try to find a 5' 10 QB to win with since Seattle did it once??? C'mon man... Quote:What does it matter?? Seriously??? So we sign Sanders that means we are done at WR.... got it. Isn't this draft deep at WR?
Quote:SEattle also has Russell Wilson....does that mean that every team should go out and try to find a 5' 10 QB to win with since Seattle did it once??? That's not what I'm saying at all! I never said anything about a qb all I am saying is just because you don't have a big threat on the outside doesn't mean your wr core can't be affective, especially in Fisch's offense
Quote:So we sign Sanders that means we are done at WR.... got it. Isn't this draft deep at WR? Yes, thats actually what I am afraid of. I don't want to miss out on some of the talent in this WR pool this draft because we decided to go overkill on the smallish Ace/ Em Sanders route for WR. Quote:Yes, thats actually what I am afraid of. What happens if we draft Benjamin and have ace Cecil and sanders would you be happy with the signing then? Quote:Yes, thats actually what I am afraid of. So again you are criticizing something that hasn't happened and in another thread told people not to get excited before something happens... what's wrong with you?

So, I cited an example too. I'd rather have WR that compliment each other, and that means a varied amount of skill sets, not 2 that are pigeon holed in Ace & Emmanuel. Need a bigger, stronger WR as a RZ threat as well.
Quote:What happens if we draft Benjamin and have ace Cecil and sanders would you be happy with the signing then? I'd love it if we added Benjamin (or similar). Thats the kind we need to be looking at. But again, no need for Em Sanders, we'll have Ace, and Blackmon will be here. Shorts. Mike Brown will be depth. I completely understand what your saying, but I signing sanders doesn't mean it won't happen through the draft! People seem to forget Cecil is a free agent next year, there is no guarantee yet he will be back
Quote:So again you are criticizing something that hasn't happened and in another thread told people not to get excited before something happens... what's wrong with you? it's the same old story, same old song and dance, my friend it's the same old story, same old story same old song and dance. They can't ban him again soon enough. Quote:I'd love it if we added Benjamin (or similar). Thats the kind we need to be looking at.There is absolutely no reason to say Blackmon will be back with his current situation. I am hopeful, but they even came out and said that they are going to go about things as if he isn't here, and view him as luxury. Brown is a solid 5th guy, Ace is solid and a nice gadget player, but him and Brown are not the same player. You just think because he excels at short passes and is fast and quick that they are.
No reason to ban anyone tbh mad dog is just simply stating his views! This is a forum post not a dictator ship not everyone is going to agree with everyone else's views. I may not agree with a lot of the things he says personally but can't just bash him for it

Quote:So again you are criticizing something that hasn't happened and in another thread told people not to get excited before something happens... what's wrong with you? Well, its likely to happen.....usually when we bring players in, they sign here.
Quote:What does it matter?? Seriously??? It absolutely doesn't matter. You're the one stuck on a YPC stat to decide if you like a guy. If you're going to use YPC, then it doesn't matter at all how the receiver achieves it. If he consistently gets me 13, I don't care if he skips down the field with the ball, or out muscles guys down field; the outcome was the same either way. They don't count your yards at half value if they didn't come "the mad dog way" . If a guy gets x yards per catch, it doesn't matter at all how he does it. It's x yards per catch. You asked for x and got it, so you went immediately to complaining about "how" he got them. Which just reinforces how little you even really care about your own position, you'll immediately morph to a new one just to keep on complaining. And yes, it's fairly transparently petty.
I'd be cool with a Sanders signing. He's been productive, he's got jets, and he's a good return man. Seems like the Jags could find at least one or two roles for him, maybe even starting alongside Shorts.

Quote:Blackmon not going anywhere and is not a bust I second this motion... NH3...

They don't count your yards at half value if they didn't come "the mad dog way" . I did cite YPC and it is important. But I also think its important to be able to mix up HOW you attack teams and HOW that YPC is got. Otherwise, Teams will be able to adjust to what you do easier. You need to always be able to keep the opposing defense guessing, I didn't articulate my point good enough, initially. Em Sanders to me is not helping the passing offense become more dynamic, since we have a player that provides a lot of what he does in Ace Sanders. I think we need to be looking for that Terrell Owens or Vincent Jackson kind of skill set at this point. Thats what we are missing. A red zone target from the WR position. |
