I would love if the team landed Sanders. If Blackmon can get his head straight we would have a nice stable of wr's ..... As far as TMD wanting big WRs, I recall the Reggie Williams and Ernest Wilford days and don't see it as a necessity. Just being big doesn't make them Megatron or Andre Johnson... I also don't see how grabbing Sanders would stop the team from drafting a WR and the way our players are injured all the time I'd welcome the addition of Sanders.

I know this is off topic but he doesn't always "alligator arm" it lol

I too would rather have Fresh Blood at the WR positions rather than FA...

Out of the guys rumored to us, the only guys I would like is Thurmond, Clemons, and Young.  Hood and Sanders on cheap short deals wouldnt be bad

Another reason to hope he signs elsewhere.

If he has a habit for drops, then my seeing him play or not, changes that not at all.

The poster was quoting a Steelers fan on the drops, so I'd imagine its legit.

This is pretty bad.

On Wisconsin.

About Sanders to Tampa, I see it too. Couple of unreliable sources tho. Other sources say he was here ALL DAY.

Well it wouldn't surprise me if he went to a visit there if that's all he's saying. I literally have not seen 1 tweet saying he signed there though.

Sounds like he liked it here a lot, so maybe he wants to be in Florida? If that's the case, i'm sure he'll sign here or Tampa. I hope we get it done though.

Going off of what i have purely seen, we need a playmaker like him here. He is a big play waiting to happen.

I agree. I like his potential to be a #2, or a great #3. Would be solid if we could add him and pick up a big 6'2"+ guy in the draft.

He left Jax and is meeting with Tampa Bay tomorrow. Translated...he and his agent did not like the money on the Jax table, and will begin leveraging each team's interest against each other for a better offer.

I dont think we need a number 2 or a number 3 WR, Shorts and Sanders are just fine in those roles.  Its nice to have depth but we need a true number 1.  If Clowney is gone, Watkins?

I think the order and deeming the #1 and #2 WR is overrated. The way receivers line up in multiple positions and multiple packages you really have no true #1 and #2 in most offenses.

Shorts is a solid #2, and Sanders has shown some promise, but there is nothing wrong with having 4+ good WR's on a roster. Blackmon right now, like I said, is a luxury. I'm hopeful, but if he doesn't return we have Shorts/Sanders and not much else. Sure, we'll add a guy or two via the draft, but i'd like to add a proven young guy in Sanders that has some nice upside in a bigger role than he's seen. Not like he'll break the bank either.
