I didnt mind. Should have made the field goal though. Coach Pederson was trying to stack points which is smart. Kicker needs to make that.

Agreed. that being said... Riley deserves a pass, he's been pretty solid this year.

The Jags did a nice job of stabilizing and getting ahead in the first half. After a shaky start they seem much more in control, even under less-than-ideal weather circumstances. Hopefully they will keep the lead and put the Jets away in the second half. The Jets look anemic, they really don't seem to be playing with much energy as a team. Especially Zach.

There's a reason. Turk tried out for the position while telling the Jaguars staff beforehand that he was a boomer punter. He specialized in long hang times and was NOT a placement punter. They signed him anyway and then expected him to be a placement punter during games. 

The encouragement for boos was a middle finger to the Jaguars staff for KNOWINGLY hiring the wrong guy for the job. The Jaguars were stupid, and he knew it.

I never knew that aspect of the turk debacle!  Thanks sharing that added piece of info.

I think as long as we don't do anything stupid we've pretty much got this game.  The Jets don't seem to be capable of doing anything on offense.

The weather makes it so hard to get chunk plays. 

As long as our defense doesn't absolutely fall asleep and the offense makes no turnovers,  we should win. 

But it's still too close for comfort,  in my opinion

He's been acceptable this year. Doesn't have much distance, but has been pretty good. That ball hooked pretty hard, which shows ya how windy it actually is, imo.

The ball was over the marker when his knee contacted. I'm looking at it right now. It's like Trevor's fumble in the opening drive but in reverse.

Well I paused it on the review and he was clearly short and I just saw a replay of Trevor's fumble The ball came out...and loose as he's getting hit...balls on the ground before his elbow even comes close to the ground.... Now I'm usually the first [BLEEP] on a bad spot or knee down or a fumble but I can't say it on these two plays because they were clear to me.... Clearly short clearly of fumble

When the ball comes out on the Trevor fumble look closely at his elbow. You'll notice it . On the Travis first down ignore the angle of the camera and look at the knee and and where the ball is I'm relation to the marker when the knee contacts the turf. If you can't see either of those than I dunno what to tell you.

The ball was out as he was falling, they won't call pinning the ball to your hip if you don't hold on to the ball
