Even if that was true Trevor would still be miles ahead of where Zach Wilson is
COMBINED in 15 games, Jets QBs have thrown 15 TDs and 12 ints. Trevor had thrown 15 TDs since week 8.

The draft will generally take care of itself. The only time “tanking” works or is a good idea is when you have a clear cut QB prospect at the top of the class. And we’re so fortunate that was the case for us during the 2020 season.

I had forgotten this but was reminded on Twitter that the jests beat the browns the following week so Gore’s 1st down may not have mattered. Still, had they lost to the rams(ey’s), the front office would have been putting guys with hangnails on IR and directed the head coach to game plan very vanilla like to ensure or dramatically increase the likelihood of losing to the browns.
