Playoffs Backup Plan?

In which case we have some possibility of resting people. Which sounds nice from a healthy push into the playoffs perspective but maybe irresponsible if the path to the playoffs without a Titans win exists.

The Titans can read the tea leaves too. They will be resting their guys this weekend against Dallas.

If we don’t win week 18, I think the only back up plan is a Nancy Kerrigan type thing. What teams are ahead of us for the last WC slot?

I just read that Tua is now in concussion protocol. This could have an impact on potential playoff scenarios, including the Jags.

Yes

If Miami loses their remaining games it greatly aids the Jags chance at a wildcard spot should we not vanquish the flaming thumbtacks of hillbillyville.

Possible I missed one but I think their conference record hurts them in tiebreakers. They may be eliminated from all playoff scenarios other than winning the division.
There was 1 way but it required a bunch of stuff that I don't think is possible anymore.

I checked now and if both win next week and then tie, as long as Miami loses out they would be the 7th seed at 8-8-1. Pats have to lose wk18 and Bill's should be playing for #1 seed.

We're either getting in as the #4 seed or we're not getting in. Sadly all those close losses (Denver in London to name one) we should have won some more of those games... then maybe wild card would be realistic. Show up and beat the stinking Titans with their back-up QB and lets do this.

Well...actually...you're making it too difficult.  Win the last game and they're in.  But the discussion is about other ways they can make it in.

Official numbers say the Wild Card probability is 3% but I cant help but think its higher with the recent developments in Miami. Steelers though would have to lose either to Lamar-less Ravens or Browns, they cant win out ….

Nothing there. I would have sworn I opted in for playoff priority tickets. Maybe not.

Yeah - I too was surprised as I renewed my tickets by phone with the ticket rep and he he specifically asked if I wanted to reserve my seats for playoff games should they occur, and I replied affirmatively.

Regardless - I'd call your rep and make sure you are good to go.

Better do it soon.  Looks like additional seats go on sale early tomorrow to existing season ticket holders before they go on sale to the general public on Friday.
