I’m amazed the new sod is secure enough to play on only 5 days after laying it. How do they do that?

Water, fertilizer, and some sunshine in the forecast on Thursday and Friday will apparently be enough.

Surprised to hear they are announcing Dobbs so earlier in the week. May be a dumb question but they don't have to announce that do they? If I were them I'd keep things as quiet as required.

While I agree, I don't think it matters all that much.

A rookie who isn't ready, but is a bit of a dual threat. Plus a journeyman back-up that throws picks.  Shouldn't be too tough to make adjustments between either one.

It would be like a slightly better version of what they saw in the jets game - but with Derrick Henry to focus on all the while.

Of course - Vrabel could be totally planning a package of QB run plays for Wiliis and blowing smoke at this presser.

Kick those Tacks to the curb and then kick them some more. Humiliate them. Grind them into the ground with our heels. Stomp them into the ground until there is nothing left but a tattered Tacks uni. 40 - 0 with less than 100 yds total offense sounds about right. Blow them back to the Oiler days, make them wish that they had never become an NFL football franchise. Show them that their window has slammed shut, their time is over and that there is a new King of the AFC South!!!

Why do this? Just for cosmetic show? This seems to be inviting less secure footing and more injuries.

There's gotta be a way that ties all that sod together..

I'd ask our resident lawn care professional, but he's probably too busy lookin at customer booty..

Yes, great idea, on both.

I think you're right, but it's a really curious proposition when you are liable for pro athlete's safety.

What method would prevent a cleat snagging in some sort of mesh or seam if the top layer of turf were worn down from play?

Any sort of pin or anchor holding down turf would seem to be dangerous should a player be tackled on top of it.

Gotta be some method though.

I had the same questions as you guys.  Looked it up.

I never messed with the chicks in my HS.. Always went after other HS's chicks. That way, I could be myself and not give a [BLEEP] cause I wouldn't have to see em anymore.

Fresh grass should really make a mess out of Dobbs's and Henry's jerseys.

I think you've had enough tonight, you're cut off. Go sleep it off, you'll feel better in the morning.
