Jags Saturday night 8:15
|
Saturday at 8:15...
Gonna be wild here in Jacksonville. All I know is that Henry has had our number. If we can contain him, get out to an early lead, then we win. But if the D can't stop Henry, it's gonna be a long night. I'm saying obvious things. I feel like this Defensive Front 7 is better than we actually give them credit for. Whether we go 3-4 or modified, the the edge has to contain Henry and bring him back into the middle where we can go low on him and trip him up. This is Mike Caldwell's opus. He needs to make sure our LBs and D-Line are working together to suppress Henry. Henry wins or loses this game. Same as it ever was. We show less advertisements to registered users. All Jags have to do is limit Henry like they did in the first game. I don't think he "wins or loses this game." I think he'd probably have to have 250 APY and 3 TDs to "win this game" He had 150+ and 2 TDs in the last match up and that wasn't enough for a win. One of their QBs is going to have to get hot for at least one half of the game for them to beat this current Jags squad. Odds are not in favor of that.

And you agreed with that. Yet you just wanted to argue against me for no reason. Tell me which QB is going to beat us? It's the running game that Tennessee always kills us. I appreciate a contrarian. But, come one. There's only one way we lose on Saturday night... And that's by Henry running on us. Same as it ever was

If you go to a game in London you will literally see every NFL jersey being worn there. Henry had a very productive game vs the Jags this season and his team still lost. Jags merely have to replicate that and keep Dobbs from getting hot through the air, which would appear do-able as well. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y...NIGHT!
Kick those Tacks to the curb and then kick them some more. Humiliate them. Grind them into the ground with our heels. Stomp them into the ground until there is nothing left but a tattered Tacks uni. 40 - 0 with less than 100 yds total offense sounds about right. Blow them back to the Oiler days, make them wish that they had never become an NFL football franchise. Show them that their window has slammed shut, their time is over and that there is a new King of the AFC South!!!
"Remember Red, Hope is a good thing. Maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies." - Andy Dufresne, The Shawshank Redemption
5 days rest should not be an issue since the Jags could have had 13 days rest if they really wanted to go that route.

I feel like this change gives us a better edge at containing and slowing down Henry. Walker penetrates better playing 3-tech and Key is probably the best athlete from the edge in terms of working back to the football or chasing around the edge. I am too. Just pointing out that they are still beatable when Henry puts up above average numbers. I mean, if he played like he did against us the first go round in every game - he'd finish the season with 2600 APY and 34 TDs.
Dobbs starting over Willis is more of a nod towards the current state of affairs there in the front office.
Robinson was fired for missing tremendously on the Brown trade and Burks selection. Vrabel is potentially next. Dobbs getting the start doesn't mean he'll finish. Game comes down to stopping Henry and scoring relentlessly on offense. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? Most of his yards came in the first quarter. We pretty much shut him down after the first quarter. As long as well play him like we did in quarters 2, 3, and 4 we should be good. Yep They have been using 4 down linemen more on short yardage/run looks and Walker at 4-3 end with in a 3 point stance is a good thing there.
We beat this team already. In their own house. We're gonna do it again in our house.
I believe. #itwasalwaysthejags |
