Calais Campbell and Jimmy Smith, although Boselli is also a very good option for the offensive player.

I get two starters out of this and my offense probably gets at least 10 more points per game just with this move alone. Exactly, those are the two biggest holes. Boselli is a no brainer to improve the o-line. But Stroud or Henderson in their prime are about as good as Campbell in his. Vic always said that Stroud and Henderson would be wasted as 2-gap players, but I don't think that's true. Tough decision.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
Tough question. Calais and Ramsey would be very useful and I like the thought of Telvin with Oluokun. They could cover any TE or slot WR and shut down the screen game
Jimmy is my favorite Jag ever but an Etienne-Fred one two punch would be damn near unstoppable and then with Lawrence....SB baby! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Just read Al Michaels is calling the game.
Also jags defense is worst in the league at covering backs receiving passes out of the backfield.
if you go game by game. Season high reception yards on us was KC at 8 targets, 6 rec for 56. We have yet to allow a rb to catch a td and we’ve allowed just 5 rushing tds on the year and outside of Henry, have only allowed 1 rusher over 100 yards. The Jags defense has quietly been one of the better teams against rbs in general.

Yet - I do think this Jags squad has done well vs receiving backs on the season. Ekeler, however, is on a different level as a receiving back, IMO. Regardless of our track record this season - he's a threat to turn a simple swing pass into 35 yards at any time. Hopefully we present a similar threat with ETN Saturday night.

Dallas had 2 receptions for 13 and 4 for 31 yards from backs.. Outside of Lamb, who had a day, no one else went over 50 yards receiving. Idk what games you’re watching but we’ve been pretty damn good vs running backs all year, Ekeler included. I’ll give you KC and Detroit but out of 17 games those are outliers, not the standard. I like how we match up against the Chargers, defense should have a nice game imo. Im very confident the coaching staff wont take any aspect of the chargers offense lightly.
We need to have offense in this game. Good, consistent, point scoring offense and ball control.

This game is going to look and feel different than week three. I would throw week three out the window. Both teams are completely different now. Ultimately I still feel like it's going to come down to a dual of QB's and I really think the biggest game changer in this will once again be special teams lead by Agnew and Cooke. Agnew is going to break one tomorrow night. It's inevitable.

Yeah week 3 got out of hand and you can’t count on that same script on a re-do. Don’t turn the ball over and I think we win by 2 scores though.

I'm packing my bags for Jax now. Gotta huge work day and night in SWFL, then I'll start driving north.
It's just another week of 'win or go home.' Just like last week, and the one before that, and the one before that, and the... (01-12-2023, 08:16 PM)Cleatwood Wrote: Saw this online and thought it was interesting. Fred Taylor and Tony Brackens or Mike pete |
