Waffle House should find out his usual order and add a "Trevor Special" to their menu.

I thought Clemson was in Georgia...  Am I wrong? - Just looked it up... Clemson apparently is in South Carolina... LOL Who knew?

He's even more Southern - Clemson is in South Carolina. There's a Waffle House on Tiger Blvd there. I'm sure Trevor knows it well.

LOL, I know.  I looked it up.  Today I learned.

Big deal, like Clemson is some amazing school or something, it only got respectable when Trevor was there and now it's back to mediocrity.

Is it really that bad to not know where Clemson is located?  LOL.

When it comes to greasy spoons, I prefer going local, the original home of clogged arteries: Famous Amos.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

In the days of my youth, a Famous Amos patty melt was a go-to post-last-call meal.
Good times.

Metro Diner may be the best local greasy spoon, but it won't help you at 2am.
(over 50 locations nationwide now, BTW)

Don't quote me on this, but I heard through the grape vine and a few tweets from Cartersville residents (his hometown) that his reasoning for the Waffle House visit was this:

Back in High School in Cartersville Georgia, on Friday Nights after games the waffle house on the corner down the block from the High School was THE hangout spot for all the kids to talk about the game and socialize and just enjoy being in that community with good laughs and some good eats (who doesn't like waffles?!?!?)

Apparently going to the Waffle House was a tradition, and especially so after big wins. Trevor is a guy who is very self aware of who he is and where he came from. He wanted to make sure that he got back to his roots, and continued to do the things that made him so successful and to share these moments with all the great people around him, and his community (whether that's Cartersville GA, Clemson SC, or Jacksonville FL). He's just a very down to earth, humble guy like that.

We are really blessed to have a player like Trevor Lawrence. I hope he's our signal caller for the next 2 decades!! and that the Waffle House never runs out of syrup for him!
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Here I north TX you can’t throw a stick without hitting a Mexican or barbecue joint.  And they’re constantly opening new ones.  I don’t get it.  How many do you need?

For those that don't know, Waffle House is becoming iconic with Gen-Z. A lot of people in the Southeast Region (especially in Atlanta) are featuring Waffle House in their podcasts, videos, and such. It's a real novelty anymore ..... kind of like the GameStop of the stock market... lol
