Time to catch fire and build momentum. I'm sure they're adjusting to take Kirk away, he has been our only targeted receiver it feels like.

Remembering Detroit. We didn't make them punt ONCE.
I hate Rodney Harrison, but he's right about the Jags defense. 10 catches by Kelso.
Black Jaguar: Yeah, it's a thing.
Brandon Scherff is no longer that dude. Next season I want him gone.

I mean, we basically had an interception at the very least, let alone a pick 6. If CHENNE is in, they're running the ball primarily and supplementing it with quick throws and screens.

Defense has to get them off the field, Offense has to have TDs,. No lead is safe cuz refball/network scriptball is coming.
The defense was getting pressure on mahomes and the Henny comes in and no pressure and the running game opens up for them. Come on defense go beast mode.
Let’s go jags
We win as a team or we lose as a team.

Got to admit that being down by 7 at half is as good as we can hope for. A few adjustments and hopefully we can make the second half interesting.
A few thoughts....
Not sure if anyone mentioned this but on Henne's tipped pass where Olukon couldnt hang on to the pick, it looked like Campbell was going to easily pick it off and would have had a full head of steam heading towards the endzone. Really bad luck. No way for Olukon to know that. Kirk's drop was really unfortunate. Looked like he ever so slightly misjudged the path of the ball in the air and had to reach out for it. If he did catch it, it looked like he would have fallen to the ground. He should have drifted his route just a touch to the left as he ran and it would have hit him in full stride and could have walked into the endzone. But you could tell he had to reach for it and just couldnt hang on. I get the defensive strategy of playing soft in the secondary and forcing the chiefs to slowly march themselves down the field. Prevents big plays in the air and chews up the clock limiting the chiefs number of possessions. But that strategy only works if you tighten up in the redzone. Kelce is still running wide open even in the redzone. Got to get up on him. And of course with Henne coming in we should have changed our strategy. Letting Kelce get 6 yards with no one around him on the first play allowed the a ton of breathing room. Also the run defense needs to pick it up. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff.
