Blackmon Update: FHP now says careless driving charge will be rescinded for Justin Blackmon after report was reviewed by FHP supervisors.

So, he got no ticket either. He blew a tire and thats it. END OF STORY.

But but 3:30 in the morning!

Well this party really died.

There's another report surfacing that when he returned home, he removed the tag from his pillow that clearly stated, "Do not remove this tag." This guy's a thug, pure and simple.

I'm not sure if charges will be filed for "Pillowgate" or not but this guy's clearly out of control.

And were done here

Blackmon is on his last strike with me and the Jaguars, but this is nothing he did nothing wrong, if he does something wrong then he is done, lets not  try to bash a guy when they did nothing wrong due to their past history.

TMD will take whatever position will get the most rebuttals. Mr. Society-Is-Crashing-Around-Us is defending the 330am joyride. lol

As many problem as he's had in a short amount of time, it would be a good idea to be home at 3 AM
At 24 I had 3 kids, and was working full time.  But if I didn't, and wasn't married, I imagine I'd have probably been out pretty often that late.  Especially if i was making millions of dollars. Even then there have been times we've been out that late when the kids were with their grandparents.

Blackmon isn't married, and doesn't have kids.  It's the offseason.  Being out that late isn't really a big deal if he's not driving drunk.  Driving drunk is the big problem.  If he were drinking, and called a designated driver, would you still have a problem?  For example if his driver had a flat tire, and he was found drunk in a car at 3:30 A.M. (Under the assumption that he didn't violate any NFL rules in this scenario)

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Absolutely incorrigible.

Unfortunately it hasnt.

To sum it up: Blackmon was on his way home at 3:30 AM after whatever he was just doing, his tire blew. He was given a ticket, and after JSO reviewed it, they said it wasn't valid and removed it. Blackmon did nothing wrong.

No, there must be something we can glom onto.  Something...

Quote:They aren't excuses, they're possibilities. The FACT of the matter is, none of us have any clue why he was out. Be it drinking/partying/mischief or other reasons, we do NOT know.
Well, I'm fairly certain he wasn't just getting an early start on his paper route.

That being said, how forthcoming he is or isn't about the event will be revealing.  Any statement yet from him or the team?

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Can't wait to hear what David Lamm has to say about all this.

I don't see why

Quote:That would probably change my mind a bit, but at this point, considering his past, he's pretty much lost my benefit of the doubt.

I'd agree if he was cited for something other than careless driving. Methinks you're overreacting here because of what time the incident occurred. Without knowing the context behind why he was out, there's really nothing to be upset about. It's possible he was coming home from an evening with some chick. He could have been hanging out with buddies and was headed home. The point is, we don't know. What we do know is that his history of substance abuse had absolutely nothing to do with this. There were no injuries to report. There's nothing to see here.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

What exactly was the crime in that???

I'm not taking the side that got the most rebuttals...I took the correct side of the argument. As usual.

There are dozens of possibilities here. Good and bad.

Do we know if he was actually cited?

If there is nothing to hide, why bother hiding it?

Not only that but I heard that on his travels as he was waiting for the light to change, his car was briefly in a "no stopping or standing" zones! :woot:

It would seem he wasn't even cited for that.

A statement to say what? To confirm that he blew a tire?

On Wisconsin.
