I dunno that I'd say Waller is a top 5 TE presently. He's missed over 40 percent of the games played over the past two seasons.

If he can stay healthy, he might be up there, but until he can sustain a season of wear and tear, I can't consider him reliable.

4. Goedert
5. Engram

Freiermuth, Hockenson, Pitts & Njoku are also noteworthy. Waller has a long way to go to prove he's the guy he once was in 2019 & 2020. He might be on the verge of consistently falling apart like Antonio Gates did when he turned 30.

So far, I like the restraint shown by the Jaguars in the early free agency period. Losing Key will hurt when they likely could have re-signed him at a reasonable price. As things stand now, there are immediate needs at nickel and swing tackle. Interior offensive line also needs to be improved. Hopefully at least one of these areas will be addressed in free agency. While most desirable options are gone, Isaac Seamalo, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and Bryce Callahan are 3 players who could make an immediate difference. I'd like to see one of them become a Jaguar before the end of this week.
