For real?
If true certainly sounds like an MJD move.

He could be one of those difference maker type of signings that ends up bailing our team's [BLEEP] out down the stretch this year. Etienne, Johnson, Hasty & Conner. That's all we need for 2023.

We can get an upgrade to Conner. I'm rooting for Tyjae Spears.

Would love Spears.  Spears or McBride, would loe to add either if we do decide to draft a back.

A big fan of Johnson. Watched him play throughout college, BIG USF FootBULL fan. He's a hard runner and ALWAYS gives his all.
Jaguar since Day One . . . attended Hall of Fame Preseason Opener.

Was hoping for Tyjae Spears. Physical compliment.

Would you take Spears at #88?

I know people will point to Frank Gore but he's an outlier.

2 torn ACLs is very concerning so I am definitely not taking him at 88.

Lol, 3rd year 1st round draft picks don't hold out for a tag. They aren't eligible for one for two more years.

No, but with Baalke in charge those two knee repairs might be too much for him to pass up.

LOL
Our guy does love an injury bargain.

Personally - I wouldn't touch a RB until #185 in this draft if I'm the Jags, but I keep seeing fans talking about drafting Spears.
Just curious where these fans would take him, how far he'd fall. I don't think he get's to our pick at #121.

I really like D'Ernest Johnson and Hasty is still promising IMO -  also want to see if Connor gets a fire lit under him in camp or not.

With the amount of ZBS and gadget style plays Pederson throws into the mix in his run game - We don't require superstar backs IMO.
ETN will get you some chunk runs if he holds onto the ball.
The committee after him doesn't need to be glitzy. Just execute the plays and produce some 1st downs. The pass will be the focus regardless of what back Baalke acquires this offseason.

I would target him at 121 or 127

Yeah, I think the 4 guys we have are a fine group. If ETN gets hurt again I think Johnson has the right skillset to do an adequate job replacing him. He won't be nearly as good, but this team just needs the RBs to be ok.

No, I can't see him bring the top player available in the 3rd
