Yep.
AB / InBev hasn't even had a blip on their radar from this stock-wise.

Actually what she said was, "Du har riktig utstyr ja, o JA!. Nå, vil du ha en kaffe?"

I was flattered.

Maybe terminology is wrong on my end. I have seen catchy headlines like this one though all week.

Losing $5 billion of market value, when their total market value is $113 billion, represents about 3 dollars a share.  It did go from about $66 a share to about $63 a share, and that would be about $5 billion of market value.  That's barely a blip, which you can see right at the far right side of that chart.

When a stock has been on a 20% gain during the first quarter of the calendar year and a marketing dust up gives it a 3 to 4% dip, the stock is still exceptionally healthy.

So far, it's not even enough of a drop to drive investors into buying it at a "discount"  (knowing it will rebound eventually)

BudLight has had some of the most successful marketing campaigns in the beer universe over the past 30 years. They'll produce another one of those and rebound from this - and they may not even need to if they just ride it out.

Most ppl that get fake mad over some dumb [BLEEP] like this forget about it in a few weeks.

Thanks for the breakdown. Makes a lot more sense when broken out like that. The clickbait stuff is ridiculous around this type of information online.

Agreed. It'll be a fart in the wind that eventually grows stale and leaves the air around them. No different than what happened with Nike during it's Colin Kaepernick saga.

Only 3 dollars a share. Pfft, so what if someone owns a couple million shares.

Then they are sitting pretty since the stock is still up 16% since December

Yeah, I would hate to be that broke. Ninja

Truth be told, Bud light does, has always and will continue to suck mightily. No matter of the level of incompetence of the folks that make their decisions concerning advertising.

I try to stick to local brews personally or I'll hit up my local Total Wine & More to get an imported beer. Big fan of Belgium, German and Icelandic brews. I really, really dig this beer called Old Rasputin. Think it's made out in Ft. Bragg, California. It's an old Russian Imperial stout. That's my gameday go-to if I am at home.

Good stuff.
Toured that brewery when working a festival in CO that they sponsored back around 2017 or so.
Super nice folks - got to sample several yummy brews.
That particular beer was the first "nitro" from the American craft scene to take off and many more have since tried and failed to follow suit as successfully.

Yes.  I used to drink that a lot.  A google search is telling me the original version is not sold in the US any more.  Strictly in Germany.

I even remember the jingle.

Here's to good friends
tonight is kind of special
the beer we pour
must be something more
so tonight tonight tonight
let it be Lowenbrau.

We used to go into Montreal once in a while for a long weekend, not very far from NH.. Got pretty messed up a few times at The Molson Brewery. Loved those ice cold free samples.
