Americans spent more on legal cannabis in 2022 than chocolate, beer: report

Americans spent roughly $30 billion on legal marijuana last year while spending around $20 billion on chocolate

Isn't this stat just a reflection that price per ounce of weed is probably expensive than chocolate. Would be more impactful, it they looked at gross weight consumed/purchased.
