Abdullah is an edge. Miller makes sense if Lloyd moves outside and Walker inside...

Except we already have Muma

But, yes, you are correct and I think that's what we are going to see to some degree.

Looks like they do drop him into pass coverage. so may be a good fit for this defense! doesn't look like he has a ton of moves. But does look fast off the edge when he times the snap right. can't expect a lot out of a 5th round pick though. hopefully he'll be a solid contributor.

Don't need to worry about coverage when you have edge lords getting after the QB.

Looks like he can cover though based on what ESPN is saying.

Our division is looking vastly improved with a big influx of young talent. Minus the Jaguars.. but I guess we worked our magic last year. This year we're just taking whatever falls into our lap, even if we aren't going to use it.

I was wondering this too after the Miller pick.  If Lloyd heads outside then we only have 3 LBs to fill the two spots.  Will likely need one more which Miller could fill.  Otherwise seems like a wasted pick.  Heard Miller had been battling a foot injury.  Maybe another Baalke special taking a flyer on an injured player dropping.

Yeah. That tends to happen when most of your starters are still under contract...

We lost Taylor. That's it. Everybody else was depth/rotational.

We have easily had the worst draft in the division and it's not even close

Meh, we could have easily added 3 starters and upgrades

Yeah. Tends to happen when you win your division and fall down the pecking order...

Don't like it.

Oluokun is one of the best 3-4 ILBs in the league and has 2 years left on his deal.
No need to plan his departure prematurely.
Meanwhile we have nobody to play the nickel.
We passed on a [BLEEP] ton of DB talent in this draft.
I hope Baalke has something up his sleeve to get competition into camp for our slot DB.

We added upgrades and scheme fits. Harrison is an upgrade and scheme fit. Strange is going to be an H-back and heavily involved. As will Bigsby.

Key and Smoot's 1,000 snaps combined from last year just had it's replacements added in Lacy and Abdullah.

Miller being added at ILB more than likely means Lloyd is moving to OLB. Walker down and inside potentially.

I think we're making very safe bets that fit specific needs that have clearly defined roles and people don't know how to read beyond the position flashing on the sports ticker by the player's name.

Maybe those two defensive backs that were drafted last year will improve. Hope

I have absolutely never [BLEEP] about a Jags draft in my life, but I have absolutely no idea what they’re trying to accomplish.

Would like to see Valentine, Anthony Johnson Jr. or Daniel Scott at this point. Need to try and trade up though. 160 is too long to wait.

The Chiefs killed the draft last year and had a bunch of rookies that helped the win a SB
