That was the same drive, actually now that I remember it better.

First was the "helmet to helmet" on gronk, which replay showed shoulder made contact.
Second was a deep pass left side, ball was thrown out of bounds, and the contact between bouye and the WR wasn't enough to call PI, but they did. And then later on the same drive the PI you brought up.

Literally handed them their points.

Yea, it was apparent to everyone at the watch party the powers that be wanted an Rams-Pats Superbowl for the revenue and to help the newly established Rams. .  It did get the other owners to vote for a more robust review system. Kind of like when we played the Pats up their in 1996 when our QB headsets would not work and theirs did. The next year the NFL took control of that system from the home teams and decided if one team's headset didn't work neither would.   The Saint got the shaft too when they played the Rams that year too.

Well, the 'powers that be' did a pretty bad job of it if they were trying to manipulate a Rams-Pats SB in 2017.  The Rams were eliminated in the 1st round by the Falcons. And it wasn't close.

LOL.  A better QB wins the Pats playoff game?  That was TOTALLY on the coaching.  They play waaaay too conservative in the second half and it killed them.  They should have kept the pedal to the metal.

preach.

the zebras didn't help, either.

I watched it at a bar in Clearwater with some friends and most there were bucs fans. Fun times. Jags had it! That 2017 was a fun season.

Still managed to get swept by the tacks that year and we beat up on a rookie Watson in week one and Yates in the 2nd contest against the tinhorns. The clots also sucked that year.

We had Nathan [BLEEP] Peterman in a home play off game as an opposing QB. He was garbage.

The only game that really, honest to god impressed me and surprised me that year was the play off win against the Steelers. That game showed me that our defense was clearly not perfect but it also showed me that our offense could figure out a way to dig us out of a hole.

That game pretty much earned Bortles an extension.

Fournettes 100+ yards and 3 tds in that game enters the chat.
Does not erase the fact that out of that game it convinced Coughlin to give The Boat an extension...

Everybody remembers The Boat to Bohanon in that one.

Those are some Blaine Gabbert stats, we scored 45 points with our Qb putting up those numbers.. he had almost nothing to do with it lol.

The Jags were so starved for good QB play that when BORTLES played average, we thought it was a great game.

I’ve been saying forever how average he was in that Pitt game. He had a couple good throws but overall, he was game managing.

And clearly giving the extension on the heels of average QB play was a horrible move.

It’s just like what the Giants did this year.
