Bridgewater Pro Day
|
Quote:If Teddy light up the pro day the haters would say its meaningless, he was areverge the haters say see he's not a 1st round pick, at the end of the day its what the teams are thinking. Good scouts rely on the tape, like has been said, Gabbert and Jamarcus Russell had great pro days, how did that workout? Then why couldn't Ted. Oh, that's right. He took the gloves off. Now you see what you're getting.

Quote:You still haven't told me why you don't think he's an elite prospect. Please don't say his frame or his gloves. You can't draft scared.I told you why, but I am waiting for you to pick a game so I can show you how open his receivers were consistently.... Quote:Then why couldn't Ted. Who cares, Tom Brady wears a glove

Quote:Please don't say his frame or his gloves. He threw deficiently without them, and he couldn't keep on his combine weight.

Quote:Which game tape do you want me to break down. Pick any game you want? I've seen every "tape" of teddy and his receivers are far from anything special. Parker might make a couple plays here and there but that is because teddy trusts his receiver to make a play or break it up if needed.
Crab Cakes and Football! That's what Jacksonville does!
Quote:Somebody posted earlier they would take him in the 3rd round probably the same kind of jackwagon that would also take Carr in the 2nd round or higher...
Quote:Somebody posted earlier they would take him in the 3rd roundOH that was probably Jungle Cat..... He is the only one who feels that way. He is definitely a 1st round prospect. I just don't feel he is a top 10 and definitely not top 5. Quote:Who cares, Tom Brady wears a gloveTed is no Tom Brady. Not even close.

I will point out each throw he makes and how open they were on each play......
Quote:He threw deficiently without them, and he couldn't keep on his combine weight. So does that mean you'd rather have bortles who is god awful with a water gun for an arm, BUT he's 6'5 and 245? Teddy is tall enough. He can pack on pounds if needed. Frame really isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be.

Guess the QB:
Very poised and composed. Smart and alert. Can read coverages. Good accuracy and touch. Produces in big spots and in big games. Has some Brian Griese in him and is a gamer. Generally plays within himself. Team leader. Negatives: Poor build. Very skinny and narrow. Ended the ’99 season weighing 195 pounds and still looks like a rail at 211. Looks a little frail and lacks great physical stature and strength. Can get pushed down more easily than you’d like. Lacks mobility and ability to avoid the rush. Lacks a really strong arm. Can’t drive the ball down the field and does not throw a really tight spiral. System-type player who can get exposed if he must ad-lib and do things on his own. Quote:Guess the QB:Tom Brady duh.... And as I mentioned, Brady sat for at least a year. He had time to develop. Have you ever watched the Brady 6. It was on NFL last night he saw what a coach had to say about him his rookie year and took it to heart, and he even said they were right. But he had time to develop. Same is true for the QBs in this draft. They need time to develop at least a year for a few and longer for others. Quote:OH that was probably Jungle Cat.....I dont know if he is the same person saying he will take a Geno Smith fall but that is not 1st round either. My thing is if a team thinks he is gonna turn into a franchise QB, it doesnt matter where you draft him, 3 or 20, a franchise QB is a franchise QB, your picking 3 then pick the guy at 3. I'm tired of this team passing on these guys for duds, just because we didnt want a QB at those picks. Rodgers, Big Ben, Russell Wilson,

Quote:Tom Brady duh....And i'm pretty sure Gus Bradley said who ever they draft at QB they want them to sit and learn behind Henne, but if they beat out Henne like Russell Wilson beat out Flynn then the kid should play.

Quote:Then why couldn't Ted. Been drinking before 2pm again I see!
