Bridgewater Pro Day
|
Quote:I just feel like this lack of excitement about TB proday solidifies that HOU wont get him at 1. I'd be surprised if it changes much. Clowney was the top prospect before today and he still is. Quote:Its a little hard to take you seriously with that ridic bad avatar you gotMost people on here know I've done more draft study than anyone else on these boards. I have decided through roughly two hundred hours of DB watching that Teddy is one of three elite prospects in this draft, and the best choice for the Jags. My avatar reflects that.
Why are there so many Teddy apologists? If he sucks he sucks. If you can't even look good throwing in shorts you aren't worthy of a 1st Rd pick period.
And here is the Rutgers game 2013:
http://draftbreakdown.com/video/teddy-br...gers-2013/ 0:03 - wide open 0:10 - wide open, ball thrown late (replay at 0:30 shows how open he was) 0:37 - wide open 0:45 - wide open 0:57 - incomplete on fade route, tight coverage 1:07 - wide open, ball overthrown 1:20 - sack 1:45 - wide open 2:07 - wide open 2:19 - wide open 2:27 - scramble 2:58 - scramble 3:23 - wide open 3:34 - wide open 3:46 - overthrown ball, tight coverage, and pressure 4:02 - good throw on tight coverage, slant route 4:12 - same route and coverage as 4:02, incomplete pass...but PI called 4:41 - interception into tight coverage 5:05 - wide open 5:15 - good throw and ball placement away from coverage, but receiver had about 3 yards on man, wide open by NFL standards 5:52 - incomplete on deep ball, tight coverage, and underthrown 6:06 - wide open 6:18 - wide open 6:42 - wide open 7:01 - incomplete pass, tight coverage in red zone 7:09 - wide open and bad pass, incomplete 7:31 - good throw against tight coverage 7:42 - wide open 7:54 - incomplete jump ball to tight coverage....if that was Johnny it would be YOLO ball...just saying.....again 8:05 - good throw against coverage 8.28 - scramble 8:40 - good throw away from defenders, great accuracy 9:00 - sack fumble, turnover 9:22 - wide open 9:32 - scramble 9:45 - wide open, missed target 10:07 - incomplete pass, looks like a bad throw 10:15 - scramble 10:28 - wide open Any more videos you guys want. Like I said he throws a lot of passes to WIDE OPEN RECEIVERS.....
Quote:Agree. The talent is deep. Bortles beat him h2h and guys like Mettenberger are arguably on the same level.Bortles beat him head to head in a game, at the combine, and will prolly do it at his pro day We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Manning throws very, very few balls into tight windows either. Quote:...and we're all very impressedJust saying it's not because of some bias, it's legitimately because of a whole lot of evaluation. If that were the case I don't think they're would be any question about who Houston was taking..... The only question the Colts had was which QB they would take, not which player. TB is not a Manning level prospect like Luck was. And if you are able to pull up Manning's college tape I think you will see a lot more throw into tight windows than TB has had to make. This is just sad, I'd say that the man love from Kentucky fans on this board rivals the Matt Jones love from Arkansas.

Quote:If that were the case I don't think they're would be any question about who Houston was taking.....I said presnap. Manning was a better prospect overall, but not by a lot really. They are actually fairly similar other than the size. People are comping Teddy to Brady more and more, but it could be Peyton and not be too far off either. You're SUPPOSED to kill it on your pro day.
I'm surprised the Brigade hasn't brought up that Teddy, with his incredible intelligence, has obviously tanked his pro day so that he'll be taken by New England or Seattle. As I've said all along: He'll be there at #3. To hear the pundits say it, this is one of the better drafts of the century. I'd chance trading back to get an extra 2nd or 3rd and give up the Teddy chase. The absence of Teddy's biggest fan speaks volumes, btw. Either that, or the lotion broke his keyboard.

I don't know about them, but in my case I have said many times I am a Jags/Gator fan because my dad is from Jax (and is a UF alum) before moving here for a job w/ IBM. I hate both UL and UK strongly. My coincidental proximity to where Teddy played has absolutely nothing to do with my evaluation of him. If anything it would make me like him less. |
