I just feel like this lack of excitement about TB proday solidifies that HOU wont get him at 1.

 

I'd be surprised if it changes much. Clowney was the top prospect before today and he still is.

Agree. The talent is deep. Bortles beat him h2h and guys like Mettenberger are arguably on the same level.

Bortles beat him head to head in a game, at the combine, and will prolly do it at his pro day

Could this not be because he is Manning level (as a prospect...and hopefully eventually as a pro) presnap? Manning throws very, very few balls into tight windows either.

If that were the case I don't think they're would be any question about who Houston was taking.....

 

The only question the Colts had was which QB they would take, not which player. TB is not a Manning level prospect like Luck was. And if you are able to pull up Manning's college tape I think you will see a lot more throw into tight windows than TB has had to make.

I said presnap. Manning was a better prospect overall, but not by a lot really. They are actually fairly similar other than the size. People are comping Teddy to Brady more and more, but it could be Peyton and not be too far off either.

You're SUPPOSED to kill it on your pro day.

 

I'm surprised the Brigade hasn't brought up that Teddy, with his incredible intelligence, has obviously tanked his pro day so that he'll be taken by New England or Seattle.

 

As I've said all along:  He'll be there at #3.  To hear the pundits say it, this is one of the better drafts of the century.  I'd chance trading back to get an extra 2nd or 3rd and give up the Teddy chase.

 

The absence of Teddy's biggest fan speaks volumes, btw.  Either that, or the lotion broke his keyboard.

This is just sad, I'd say that the man love from Kentucky fans on this board rivals the Matt Jones love from Arkansas. 

Who other than me is from Kentucky? I don't know about them, but in my case I have said many times I am a Jags/Gator fan because my dad is from Jax (and is a UF alum) before moving here for a job w/ IBM. I hate both UL and UK strongly.

 

My coincidental proximity to where Teddy played has absolutely nothing to do with my evaluation of him. If anything it would make me like him less.
